AI-generated audio is not automatically yours to copyright, safe to monetize, or cleared for every use. In the United States, the Copyright Office says audio generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable; prompts alone do not make you its author. Human-authored contributions to a mixed work may be protected, and the service’s license is a separate question from copyright.

What Rights Do You Have In AI-Generated Audio?

Separate three issues before you publish a track: whether copyright protects your contribution, what the generation service lets you do, and whether the audio uses someone else’s voice or material with permission. A commercial-use license from a service does not by itself establish that you own copyright in an AI-generated track or have permission to imitate a real performer.

The U.S. Copyright Office says applicants registering a work that contains more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material must disclose it and describe the human author’s contribution. Rules and outcomes can differ outside the United States; check the requirements where you plan to publish or register work. U.S. Copyright Office AI report and guidance

How To Make A Safer Audio Track On A Xiaomi Phone

  1. Choose an original brief. Describe the purpose, mood, tempo, instrumentation and structure in your own terms. For example: “Create a 20-second instrumental notification sting with soft mallet tones, a warm low note and a clean ending; no vocals, samples or references to a named artist.” This is a prompt example, not a promise that any service supports a particular duration or sound.
  2. Use only material you can submit. If you upload a recording, sample, lyrics or voice reference, get permission from the relevant rights holders and any identifiable speaker. A service’s ability to accept an upload does not establish your right to use it.
  3. Keep a record of your contribution. Save your prompt, edits, lyrics or instrumental parts you created, the generated file, the date, and the plan or license terms shown when you generated and downloaded it. This makes it easier to distinguish your human-authored work from generated material and check what the service licensed.
  4. Check the exact plan terms before using it commercially. Confirm the license applies to the plan active when you generated the track and to your intended use, such as an ad, podcast, client project or monetized video. Do not infer rights from a free download or a general marketing claim.
  5. Review the finished audio and its destination. Listen for recognizable voices, borrowed material and accidental resemblance before publishing. Check the destination platform’s disclosure and monetization rules, especially if the audio could be mistaken for a real person’s performance.

On Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones, a browser-based service can be tried in the phone’s browser, but the supplied product information does not establish compatibility with every handset, browser or HyperOS version. Suno, Musicful and Soundverse AI Beat Maker list Android availability; check their current vendor pages for device requirements and how to access the service.

How These Services Describe Audio Rights

The entries below report only the stated rights or limitations; they are not a legal determination that a track is copyrightable or cleared against third-party claims. Read the linked service terms for the exact plan and intended use before relying on a license.

Service Rights information stated Practical point
Suno Paid-subscriber songs are described as yours to keep and use as you wish. The Free Plan does not include commercial rights. Do not treat a Free Plan track as commercially cleared. Confirm the applicable paid-plan terms for the track.
Eleven Music Tracks are described as cleared for broad commercial use, with rights varying by subscription tier; the stated exclusion includes film, TV and studio games. Free use is personal. Check the tier and the stated excluded media before use.
Loudly Commercial licensing is included in the Personal plan entry; the free generated tracks are limited to 30 seconds, and paid licensing rights depend on plan terms. Check the exact paid plan license. The free-track length does not establish commercial permission.
Musicful Musicful says downloaded tracks receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license and that it retains ownership of generated tracks. Its stated commercial-use allowance is limited to Standard/Pro plans; Free/Basic is non-commercial. Distinguish the service’s ownership statement from the license it grants you, and verify your plan.
Songin.ai The supplied information says free downloads are watermarked MP3 files for personal use only; separate entries state “No commercial rights” and “Full commercial rights” without establishing which plan each applies to. Plan-specific commercial terms are not established here. Check Songin.ai’s terms before any commercial release.
Tunee Tunee states that generated songs and videos come with a full commercial license, while also saying copyright law is evolving and it cannot guarantee copyright protection. Free users may use music for personal projects with attribution. Keep the distinction between the service’s license and copyright protection; check the terms for your plan.
AI Jingle Maker It states that commercial use is included, including broadcasts, podcasts, sponsor audio and audio marketing. Review the vendor’s terms for any conditions applying to your particular project.
OpenMusic AI It describes generated tracks as designed for commercial use and says each song comes with a license for proof and protection; plan terms govern downloads and commercial licensing. Check the specific plan license and retain the track’s license documentation.
Soundverse AI Beat Maker It says a commercial license is available for releasing and monetizing tracks. The Creator & Pro entry lists commercial licenses. Confirm the license is included in the plan you use.

Voices, Covers And Uploaded Audio Need Extra Care

A generated vocal that imitates an identifiable singer, a cover of a protected song, or a track built from an uploaded sample can raise rights and consent questions beyond the service’s license. Get permission from the people and rights holders involved, and read the service terms for voice cloning, references, uploads and covers before using those features. The listed capabilities do not establish that you have permission to use a particular voice or recording.

Spotify announced that vocal impersonation is allowed only when the impersonated artist has authorized it, alongside AI disclosures in credits and a spam filter for mass uploads and duplicates. In August 2026, it announced an “AI Persona” badge for artist identities that may be AI-generated. These are Spotify policies; they do not grant rights for other platforms or uses. Publishing On YouTube Or Streaming Services

YouTube’s inauthentic-content monetization policy targets mass-produced, repetitive or template-based uploads; AI use alone is not the stated target. YouTube also requires creators to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content, including material that could be mistaken for a real person’s performance. A service license does not guarantee monetization or replace the platform’s own disclosure rules. What To Verify Before You Publish

  • The service and plan that generated the file, plus the current license covering your intended use.
  • Permission for every uploaded recording, sample, lyric or identifiable voice.
  • Whether your contribution contains enough human-authored material for the copyright protection you expect; prompts alone do not establish authorship under the U.S. Copyright Office’s stated position.
  • Any disclosure, credit, attribution or monetization requirements on the destination platform.
  • Current vendor terms for unsupported details such as a specific genre, export format, language, device compatibility or license scope.

For Xiaomi phone users, the practical rule is simple: keep the prompt and license record with the audio, and verify rights for the specific plan and destination before posting or monetizing it.
