The pandemic has caused a big dent on the consumer electronics market. Even brands like Redmi haven’t been able to manage with the rising component cost and chip shortage. Over the period of last few months, the brand has steadily hiked the smartphone prices.
The latest smartphones to get a price hike are the Redmi Note 10 and the Redmi Note 10T 5G. The Note 10 that had launched for INR 11,999 has now been hiked by up to INR 1500, while the Note 10T 5G has gotten a fresh INR 500 hike. This is not the first time that Note 10 has seen a price hike.

The Redmi Note 10T 5G was brought to India last month at an introductory price of INR 13,999 for the base variant while the top-end variant costed INR 15,999. Today the price has been increased by INR 500 for both the model.
