We saw Redmi announce the Redmi Note 10 series with three new smartphones, the Note 10, Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max. While the regular Note 10 model got a price hike a few weeks back.
Redmi India has now announced a price hike for the Redmi Note 10 Pro 6/128GB variant as well. The phone debuted in India at a price of INR 16,999 and now will be sold INR 17,499. Overall, this model has received an INR 500 price hike which is attributed to US dollar getting strong against Indian Rupee and the second wave of COVID in the country.
Just for a refresher at the end of April, Xiaomi increased the price of all two storage variants of the Redmi Note 10 in India by INR 500. The cheapest handset in the Redmi Note 10 series now retails for INR 12,499 4/64GB and INR 14,499 6GB/128GB respectively. That being said, Redmi Note 10 series overall has been selling like hotcakes in the country and have been recently kept on 24 Hours sales.
Redmi Note 10 Pro brings a large Full HD+ 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel with Snapdragon 732G and triple camera setup with a main 64MP Samsung sensor to the mix. It boats a large 5,000mAh battery, inside a relatively sleek glass sandwich build with the capability of 33W fast charging.
