Xiaomi at their Mega Global launch event announced the new Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro. This is a Full HD projector with an adjustable 60” to 120’’ screen size. Using the 0.47” DMD chip, the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro can reach a maximum brightness of 1300 ANSI lumens.
It has got HDR10 support, DTS-HD, and Dolby Audio with 10W built-in speakers with dual tweeters and dual full-range woofers. One of the highlighting features of the projector is the Omni-directional keystone correction, which automatically aligns the screen dimensions to form a perfect rectangle on the wall from any directions within 40 degrees, without any distortion.
The projector can also be used as a standalone speaker by enabling a seamless connection to an audio source via Bluetooth. It is powered by the Android TV OS and comes with a built-in Chromecast and native Netflix support. There is also the built-in Google Assistant that lets you control connected smart devices.
The Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro is also capable of achieving autofocus like a camera and ToF sensor. This automatically brings the picture into sharp focus in as little as 2 seconds.
The Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro is priced at 999 Euros (INR 85,900 approx.) with an early bird starting price of 899 Euros (INR 76,900 approx.). The projector is slated to go on sale by next week in the European market.
