Xiaomi today announced the all-new Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) for the Indian market. This was launched under the ‘Mi Sound Unveil’ product launch that Xiaomi scheduled a while back. The new Portable Bluetooth Speaker comes in the rugged outdoor segment.
It has Bluetooth 5.0 support, dual EQ mode, a body covered with mesh that has IPX7 waterproof rating, a physical button panel, lanyard slot, and a microphone to attend calls when connected to a phone. The Voice assistant can also be used on the speaker and just like the Mi Smart Speaker, you can connect two speakers for a true wireless stereo experience.
There is a 2,600mAh battery which gives a 13 hours playback and uses a Type-C port for charging.

The Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) comes in Black and Blue colors and is priced at INR 2,499. It is available starting today on Mi.com and Mi Stores goes on sale at Amazon starting March 1st.
