The Poco M2 Pro is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro in India. The phone comes with some decent specs that kind of justify the price. Poco has used a 6.67-inch full-HD+ LCD display, with a cutout for the selfie camera and a glass sandwich design. We get to see Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G processor doing all the heavy lifting and the phone is available in a plethora of colors and memory configurations.
The Poco M2 Pro runs on MIUI 11, which is based on Android 10, and apart from the Poco launcher, everything is the same as that of a Redmi smartphone. On the optics front, we have a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera which takes somewhat decent shots.
Apart from this, the phone performs well for the price and is a great offering in the sub INR 15,ooo pricepoint.
