The Redmi Note 7S is the newest member of the Redmi Note 7 series and sits between vanilla Note 7 and Note 7 Pro. All three models are identical in looks with changes done on the internals.
The Redmi Note 7S has a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It is a well-balanced display which gets plenty bright and has good colors. Under the hood, the phone gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which is an updated chip with the capability to process AI. This chip has had a proven track record of providing decent performance overall and we see that here as well.
The phone is available in the market in two RAM and storage variants, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. It gets MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 right out of the box. The camera setup is different compared to the Redmi Note 7 as it gets a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, it has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. Overall, the Redmi Note 7S offers good camera performance.
