The Redmi 9A comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a rather modern 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor and 2GB of RAM. The phone runs MIUI 12 based on Android 10 and with 32GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the phone has a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. A rather large 5,000mAh battery powers the phone for a good two working days. It comes with an all-plastic build given the price and plethora of colors including Midnight Grey, Peacock Green, and Twilight Blue.
