Redmi has flooded the market with so many options that it’s becoming difficult even to choose between a Redmi products. The Redmi 9 Prime sits between the various Redmi 9 models and the Redmi Note 9. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor along with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
We have a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD panel on the front with a dewdrop notch that produces some decent colors. As for optics, we get a Quad camera module on the back with a 13-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-lens, a 5-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the selfies are handled by an 8-megapixel sensor.
With the immense competition within the brand, if you are dead stuck on a phone under INR 10,000 then the Redmi 9 Prime or the Redmi 9 Power is a good choice. The higher storage variant on the phone costs INR 11,999 which puts it up against the base Redmi Note 9.
