Overview

PageSense brings together measurement, behavior analysis, experimentation, and visitor engagement. Web reports include real-time data, segmentation and filtering, visualization, conversion-cycle tracking, and Zia insights. For mobile apps, its Android and iOS SDKs support interaction tracking, in-app events, and push notifications.

The mix is useful when a team wants to investigate visitor drop-offs and test changes without assembling separate tools for each task. PageSense supports A/B, split URL, and server-side full-stack testing, but it does not offer feature flags; teams seeking that capability should look elsewhere.

Key features

Analytics and behavior

Heatmaps, session recordings, form analytics, and funnel analysis help teams examine how visitors move through a site and where they leave. Session recordings mask keystrokes and inputs by default, and teams can also mask selected page elements and areas. The combination of behavior tools and conversion-cycle reports gives optimization work both a diagnostic and measurement side.

Testing and engagement

A/B and split URL tests cover common web experiments, while server-side full-stack testing extends the options beyond browser-side changes. A visual editor is available, and the Chrome plugin lets users create and manage experiments from the browser. Audience targeting is supported. Polls, pop-ups, and web and mobile push notifications add ways to engage visitors beyond testing.

Integrations and compliance

Integrations include Zapier, Google Ads, Intercom, and several Zoho products: Sites, SalesIQ, Forms, Commerce, and Desk. PageSense says it complies with GDPR standards and HIPAA regulations for handling personal health information. Teams with specific compliance requirements should assess the product against their own obligations.

Pricing

PageSense has a free plan and a 15-day trial. The trial provides full feature access without a credit card, but its allowance is 5,000 monthly tracked users and three projects, so it is a bounded evaluation rather than an unrestricted test at scale.

Plan	Price	Limits and retention
Forever Free	0.00 USD per free	5,000 monthly tracked users, 1 project, 1 month data retention, 5 goals
Professional	Custom pricing	10,000 to 1,000,000 monthly tracked users, 3 projects, 6 months data retention, 30 goals, 30 custom dimensions
Enterprise	Custom pricing	10,000 to 1,000,000 monthly tracked users, 10 projects, 12 months data retention, 50 goals, 50 custom dimensions

Forever Free is suitable for a small site or an initial evaluation, but one project, five goals, and one month of retained data constrain ongoing analysis. Professional raises the ceiling and adds three projects, longer retention, and more goals and dimensions, making it the more practical fit for teams managing several properties. Enterprise doubles Professional's project, goal, and dimension counts and extends retention to a year; it suits broader programs that need those higher caps. Both paid plans use custom pricing.

Tracked-user limits matter operationally: once a plan's monthly allowance is exceeded, running experiments pause, though configurations and reports remain accessible. The pricing page directs customers to the support center, support@zohopagesense.com, and community forums.

Platforms

PageSense supports web, Android, iOS, an API, and a browser extension. Mobile app tracking through its SDKs makes it relevant to teams optimizing both sites and apps rather than web-only properties.

Who it's for

PageSense is a strong fit for conversion teams that need to connect analytics and visitor behavior with experiments, and for organizations working across web and mobile. The free plan can serve a small footprint, while larger teams should compare the tracked-user, project, goal, and retention limits with their workload. It is less suitable for anyone who requires feature flags or needs a known paid price before evaluating cost.

Pros and cons

Broad optimization toolkit: Analytics, heatmaps, recordings, funnels, testing, and engagement features sit in one platform.
Web and mobile coverage: Android and iOS SDKs support interaction tracking, in-app events, and push notifications alongside web tools.
Useful privacy controls: Recordings mask inputs by default, with options to mask selected page areas.
Restrictive free ceiling: 5,000 monthly tracked users, one project, five goals, and one-month retention limit how far a small account can grow.
Experiments pause at the usage cap: Exceeding monthly tracked users stops running experiments, even though reports and configurations remain accessible.
No feature flags: Teams that need flag management will need a separate or different product.

Alternatives

For a wider category comparison, browse Conversion Rate Optimization Software, A/B Testing Tools, Session Replay Software, and Heatmap and session replay tools.

Omniconvert Explore is worth considering if visitor volume is the priority: its free plan covers 50,000 website visitors and the full Explore feature set, compared with PageSense's 5,000 monthly tracked users on Forever Free.
Optimizely Experimentation is a better fit when feature flags are central: its free Rollouts plan includes unlimited feature flags, though it permits only one experiment at a time.
Personyze is another freemium option, with a Forever Free plan capped at 5k pageviews, one domain, and three active campaigns.
VWO Testing has a paid Growth plan aimed at small teams, with unlimited experiments, variations, and metrics.
Croct offers a free plan for up to 10k monthly active users, with one experience or experiment and content personalization.
ConvertFlow may suit teams focused on funnel campaigns: its free plan allows five campaigns, while integrations require a paid plan.
Freshmarketer is an alternative for teams getting started with email marketing; its free plan includes 100 marketing contacts and 500 monthly email sends.
Kameleoon offers a 30-day PBX Starter trial without a credit card, with up to three experiments.

Verdict

Choose Zoho PageSense if you want a broad conversion toolkit spanning web analytics, behavior analysis, experiments, and mobile app tracking, and can work within its usage and project limits. Its main appeal is the range of optimization work it brings together; its main drawbacks are custom pricing for paid plans, the free tier's tight caps, and the absence of feature flags. If those limits or missing capability are decisive, compare alternatives before committing.
