Overview

TierMaker is a tier-list maker for ranking items across a wide range of topics, with a large template library and tools for publishing lists and collecting votes. It suits people who want to build on popular templates or make visual lists on a phone; browser-uploaded photo lists have a significant save-and-share limitation.

Its breadth is a strength for public, reusable lists, but the free website is less suitable for private photo projects that need to persist in an account or be shared for others to edit.

Key features

TierMaker says its library contains millions of tier-list templates, and users can create reusable templates for others. Lists support custom tier labels and images, public publishing, and voting. Templates can contain up to 3,000 images; uploads are capped at 500 images and 50 MB at a time, with JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP supported. Those generous per-template limits suit image-heavy rankings, though the upload cap makes a very large collection a batch process.

Logged-in users can also build a one-off list from photos uploaded in a browser and download the result. That workflow does not save the list to a profile or provide a URL for others to make their own version, so it is a poor fit for a private project that needs continuing access or collaborative reuse.

The mobile app adds quick-vote formats, custom list sizing, saved templates, text-to-image, and higher-resolution downloads without the TierMaker logo. These are meaningful upgrades for frequent creators, while users who only need a basic list can use the website instead.

Template guidance favors broadly useful creations, suggesting makers consider whether at least 100 people might want to use a template. TierMaker says content is moderated and its guidelines prohibit NSFW material.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes
TierMaker website	0.00 USD per free	Desktop and mobile website use
TierMaker Pro Monthly	1.99 USD per month	Ad-free app and website, higher-quality downloads without watermark, quick voting, custom sizing, saved templates, and text-to-image
TierMaker Pro Annual	9.99 USD per year	Same Pro features
TierMaker Pro Lifetime	19.99 USD per once	Same Pro features

The free plan covers website use but not the advertised Pro app features or ad-free experience. Monthly billing is the lower-commitment option; annual and one-time pricing cost less than paying monthly over a year or longer, making them more attractive to regular app users.

Platforms

TierMaker is available on the web, Android, iOS, and macOS. The mobile app is available for Android and Apple devices. Account creation can use Twitter or Google login, and support requests go to TierMaker by email.

Its privacy policy says it collects information users provide, including contact details, credentials, and social-media login data, and may use service providers for hosting, payments, and customer service. It does not require retaining personal information for longer than six months after account termination, except where longer retention is required or permitted by law.

Who it's for

TierMaker is a strong fit for creators making public, reusable lists, voters who want a large pool of ready-made templates, and mobile users who value saved templates, voting formats, and watermark-free downloads. It is less compelling for someone who only needs a simple list and prioritizes unlimited exports or no-login creation, or for a browser-photo workflow that must be saved and shared.

Pros and cons

Pro: Millions of templates and reusable template creation give users a broad starting point and a way to publish work for others.
Pro: A 3,000-image template ceiling and support for four common image formats accommodate detailed visual rankings.
Pro: Pro combines ad-free use with watermark-free higher-quality downloads and app-specific creation tools.
Con: Browser-uploaded photo lists are single-use downloads, not profile-saved or shareable templates.
Con: The free plan is website access; the app features and ad-free use require Pro.
Con: Uploads are limited to 500 images and 50 MB per batch, which can slow work on larger image sets.

Verdict
