Overview

Sprad is a web-based workspace that brings recruiting and employee development together through a shared talent profile system. It suits teams that want to connect hiring with ongoing growth; its free recruiting core is useful, but AI actions consume credits and web-wide sourcing requires membership.

Atlas handles candidate search and assessment, while the Growth platform supports performance and career development. Sprad’s distinctive proposition is continuity: profiles can be maintained by the people they describe and used across both sides of the business.

Key features

Shared Talent Base: Living profiles that talent can keep current give recruiting and growth teams a common source of profile information. This is most relevant to organizations that want hiring records to remain useful after someone joins.
Atlas hiring: Atlas can search profiles, draft outreach, screen applicants, conduct voice interviews and rank candidates against role criteria. AI assists with preparation and suggestions, but people make decisions and Sprad says it does not automate rejections.
Employee growth: Reviews, 360° feedback, 1:1s, career paths, skills, surveys and OKR tracking make Sprad broader than a recruiting-only system. Teams seeking only an applicant-tracking tool may not need this breadth.
Evidence and control: Ratings link to supporting evidence, and people can release profile data item by item and withdraw access. Sprad says candidate data is not used to train AI models and that it neither scrapes nor sells people's data.
Messaging and integrations: Referrals and screening can use WhatsApp, SMS and phone calls without requiring a login, app or email address. Sprad lists integrations with systems including Greenhouse, Workday, Personio, Lever and Ashby, with data flowing both ways.
Security: Sprad says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the EU on independently certified infrastructure, and designed for GDPR and EU AI Act requirements.

Pricing

Sprad combines a free core with metered AI features and paid modules, so the headline free offer does not mean every recruiting workflow is free.

ATS Core — €0 forever: Career site and Google for Jobs, candidate pipeline and management, team, roles and analytics, plus MCP / AI connection. Unlimited roles, pipeline, pool and search make this a practical starting point for basic recruiting operations.
Atlas Hiring — Free forever: 200 credits every month, with 300 in the first month, no card or term, and a recruiting CRM, talent pool, unlimited roles and pipeline, plain-language search in the team’s own base, candidate portal and whole-team inclusion. Credits constrain AI activity, and web-wide sourcing requires a membership.
CV & skills screening — from €0.10/screening: AI application screening against role criteria with scored results. The per-screening charge suits occasional use but makes volume a direct cost.
AI voice interview — from €6/interview: Adds AI voice interviews, with usage priced per interview.
Active Sourcing — from €300/mo: Automated candidate sourcing for teams ready to pay for sourcing beyond their own base.
Referral — from €99/mo: Employee referral workflows for organizations that want a dedicated referral module.
Living Talent Pool — free: Living candidate profiles and talent-pool management, a focused option for maintaining a pool without buying the broader paid platform.
Sprad HR platform + Atlas AI Agent — +€5/employee: Talent management and the Atlas AI Agent; the per-employee basis means cost scales with workforce size.
Referrals Start, Core and Enterprise — custom pricing: Start covers up to 300 employees and includes 10+ ATS integrations and email, Teams, WhatsApp, SMS and Slack. Core covers up to 1,000 employees, with unlimited referrals, a dedicated account manager, three onboarding workshops and major ATS integrations. Enterprise adds unlimited employees and referrals, additional entities, advanced roles and permissions, and enterprise onboarding.
Atlas Base Max — custom pricing: Includes 65,000 credits on day one, monthly or quarterly credit packages, 30% off every credit, recruiter roles scoped per project, Talent Base Live for 500 profiles, a named contact and an onboarding workshop.

Sprad says expert coaching is included and customers can be live in under three hours; higher plans add named contacts or onboarding workshops. The free options give smaller teams room to start, while organizations expecting sustained AI use or sourcing across the web should account for credit and membership costs.

Platforms

Sprad is available on the web. It also lists integrations with applicant-tracking and HR platforms including softgarden, SAP SuccessFactors, HiBob, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Teamtailor, JOIN and d.vinci, alongside the systems noted above.

Who it's for

Sprad is strongest for recruiting teams, agencies and companies that want hiring, referrals and employee growth tools connected through shared profiles. Its growth modules and two-way integrations are valuable when talent information needs to serve multiple teams. A buyer seeking only low-cost, web-wide sourcing should weigh the membership requirement and paid sourcing plan carefully.

Pros and cons

Pro: A shared profile base connects recruiting and employee development instead of leaving them as separate workflows.
Pro: The free core includes unlimited roles, pipeline, pool and search, giving teams a substantial starting point before paid modules.
Pro: Human decision-making, evidence-linked ratings and item-by-item profile permissions provide clear safeguards around AI-assisted decisions and personal data.
Con: AI actions use credits, and searching across the web requires membership, so the free core does not cover every sourcing need.
Con: Paid screening and interviews are charged per use, which can make frequent assessment more expensive as volume grows.
Con: The platform’s breadth may be unnecessary for teams that need only a standalone ATS or sourcing tool.

Alternatives

Candidate Sourcing Software, AI Recruiting Assistants and Employee Referral Software are category directories for comparing tools focused on those needs.

Hyranse is another freemium sourcing option, with a free tier of five monthly contact credits and two AI searches; its free tier excludes API and MCP.
Jobin.cloud may fit teams wanting a free forever plan with up to 50K contacts, 30 enrich credits and limited multichannel outreach automation.
Loxo is an alternative to compare for teams considering a per-user paid plan: Core is $149.00 USD per month, billed annually and paid up front.
Pin offers a free forever plan with five contact lookup credits per week, one job position, one AI Agent and email-only sequences, for buyers comfortable with tighter free limits.

Verdict

Choose Sprad if you want recruiting and employee development to share a living talent base, with human oversight around AI-assisted hiring. Its free core makes it approachable, but credit-based AI and membership for web-wide sourcing are the main reasons to look elsewhere if your priority is unrestricted sourcing at predictable cost.
