Overview

Donors can give through the web, a mobile app, text, a kiosk, or administrative giving. They can also manage recurring gifts by starting, pausing, or updating them through a donor portal. That flexibility suits congregations with varied giving habits; churches seeking a broader fundraising platform may want to compare alternatives.

The giving experience supports English, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Chinese. Tithely says it meets PCI DSS Level 1 compliance standards. Its listed integrations include QuickBooks Online, Rock RMS, Salesforce, Planning Center Online, and Church Community Builder.

Key features

Multiple ways to give: One-time and recurring gifts, embedded donation forms, campaign pages, and text-to-give cover common church giving needs. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH bank giving are supported alongside card and regional bank payment methods.
Recurring-gift controls: Donors can start, pause, or update gifts themselves, which gives them direct control over ongoing contributions.
Administration: Real-time donation reporting, tax statements, tax receipts, and automated receipts help administrators track gifts and handle donor documentation.
Support: Customer support is available Monday through Friday, with phone support listed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time. Churches needing phone help outside those hours should weigh that schedule.

Pricing

Free Giving costs 0.00 USD per free, with no monthly fees and unlimited donations; transaction fees apply. The pricing page lists U.S. credit and debit fees of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction, ACH fees of 1% plus $0.30, and American Express fees of 3.5% plus $0.30. This avoids a recurring subscription but does not make processing free, so high-volume churches should evaluate the effect of per-gift charges.

Giving + Church Management costs 72.00 USD per month, with no setup fees, cancellation at any time, and unlimited admin users. It suits churches wanting giving and management tools without an admin-seat cap. The separate Church Management plan is also 72.00 USD per month and includes giving plus church management tools, with a 30-day free trial.

Other options include Custom Church Website at 19.00 USD per month for a standalone website plan, Custom Church App at 89.00 USD per month for a standalone app plan, and All Access at 119.00 USD per month for all tools at one flat rate. Each includes a 30-day free trial. These options make sense when a church specifically wants a website, app, or the full tool set; the lower-cost standalone plans do not include the all-tools bundle.

Enterprise has custom pricing for churches with 2,000+ attendees. Tithely also offers a 30-day trial on some plans; churches should distinguish that trial from the no-monthly-fee Free Giving option and account for transaction charges either way.

Platforms

Tithely Giving is available on Android, iOS, and the web, supporting donors who give from phones as well as administrators working online.
