Overview

LSAT Demon brings exam practice, adaptive drills, lessons, and tutor support together. Linking a LawHub account imports test and section data, helping students keep their practice in one place. Google and Microsoft Calendar connections can add registered class details and remove them when a class is canceled. LSAT Demon says calendar credentials are encrypted, it stores only those credentials and IDs for events it creates, and it does not read or store other calendar events or sell or share calendar data.

Support is available by email and phone from 9–5 pm ET, with texts accepted for after-hours emergencies. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. A refund may be requested within 30 days of the original purchase, but LawHub subscriptions and completed tutoring are non-refundable.

Key features

Official practice and adaptive drills

Essential and higher LSAT tiers include all 81 released exams, explanations for every question, and a curriculum of more than 200 lessons. Smart Drilling selects questions based on weak spots, making it a useful way to direct practice toward areas that need work rather than simply repeat full tests. Students need LawHub Advantage to access official LSAT content; it costs $124 per year, on top of LSAT Demon fees.

Teaching and tutor support

Live adds daily online classes, recordings posted within 24 hours, and priority Ask replies. The Ask feature lets students request personal explanations from a tutor within 24 hours. Pro adds a dedicated tutor, a personal study plan, and two one-hour one-on-one sessions each month; unused tutoring time rolls over. These options offer progressively more personal guidance, but the higher tiers make sense only if a student will use the added instruction.

Admissions and first-year law courses

Separate subscriptions cover admissions courses and Crushing 1L courses, with live classes and recordings included in the relevant plans. Pathway combines both course offerings, while Admissions Pro adds monthly one-on-one admissions consulting. These plans serve a different need from LSAT exam preparation and should be chosen for their courses or consulting, not as substitutes for the LSAT tiers.

Pricing

The LSAT plans are billed monthly. The free plan is a practical way to sample the service, but its three official tests and monthly live classes are a limited base for a full preparation program.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Demon Free	Free	Three official LSATs, explanations for those tests, and monthly live classes.
Essential	99.00 USD per month	All 81 released exams, 200+ lessons, Smart Drilling, official question explanations, and Ask tutor support.
Live	179.00 USD per month	Everything in Essential, daily live classes, class recordings, and priority Ask support.
Pro	499.00 USD per month	Everything in Live, two one-hour tutoring sessions monthly, a dedicated tutor, and a personal study plan.

Essential is the core choice for self-directed learners who want the full question and lesson library. Live costs $80 more per month for daily instruction and priority support; Pro is a steep step up, best reserved for students who want regular individual tutoring and will use its included sessions. All three paid LSAT tiers still require LawHub Advantage at $124 annually for official LSAT content.

Admissions costs $79.00 USD per month for admissions courses, live classes, recordings, and Ask Button access. Crushing 1L is $79.00 USD per month for Crushing 1L courses, summer live classes, recordings, and Ask Button access. Pathway costs $129.00 USD per month and includes both Admissions and Crushing 1L. Admissions Pro costs $499.00 USD per month and adds two hours of one-on-one admissions consulting monthly to Pathway.

Platforms

LSAT Demon supports web, iOS, and Android, so students can use it across browsers and mobile devices.

Who it's for

LSAT Demon suits LSAT students who want released official questions, adaptive practice, and a substantial lesson curriculum, with a clear route to classes or tutoring if they need more support. It is less compelling for someone seeking only occasional practice: the free tier is capped at three tests, while full official-content access brings the separate annual LawHub charge. Its admissions and Crushing 1L subscriptions are relevant to students seeking those specific courses or consulting alongside test preparation.

Pros and cons

Pros: Essential combines all 81 released exams with explanations, 200+ lessons, and adaptive drills, giving independent students a broad study toolkit.
Pros: Live and Pro provide concrete steps up in support, from daily classes and priority tutor replies to recurring one-on-one tutoring.
Pros: LawHub data import and calendar integration connect practice records and registered class details with the service.
Cons: The free plan covers only three official LSATs, so sustained preparation requires a paid plan.
Cons: Official LSAT content also requires LawHub Advantage at $124 per year, increasing the cost beyond the advertised monthly LSAT plan.
Cons: Pro costs 499.00 USD per month; its price is difficult to justify for students who do not need a dedicated tutor and monthly individual sessions.

Alternatives

For other exam-preparation software, browse Exam Prep Apps. GregMat is a GRE-focused alternative with a free account that includes three full practice tests and selected study resources; choose it for GRE rather than LSAT preparation. PTE Tutorials offers free practice questions, model answers, and mobile access for PTE candidates, so it fits a different exam. GMAT Official Prep offers two full-length practice exams in its free starter kit and is the relevant official-prep option for GMAT candidates. Medify is aimed at UCAT, GAMSAT, interviews, and A Levels, making it a better fit for those exams than LSAT study. Kaplan Test Prep is another freemium test-preparation option. IELTS Ready is the alternative for IELTS candidates, with mock tests and speaking and listening practice. AMBOSS is a paid medical learning service rather than an LSAT prep choice. AAMC MCAT Official Prep is aimed at MCAT candidates and offers a paid question bank with a one-year subscription.

Verdict

Choose LSAT Demon if you want an LSAT program built around released exams and adaptive practice, with the option to add classes or personal tutoring as your needs grow. Essential is the clearest fit for self-directed students; look elsewhere if you need only a small amount of practice or want to avoid the additional LawHub Advantage cost.
