Overview

Krock.io brings media feedback and project coordination into one platform. Reviewers can comment with text, drawings, attachments, and time-codes, while teams organize projects through workspaces, templates, workload Gantt charts, and a calendar. Support for images, audio, PDFs, and multi-page PDFs broadens its usefulness beyond video review.

It also generates storyboards from text and supports approval workflows, version comparison, guest reviewers, and custom reviewer roles. Integrations include Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Slack, calendar sync, and webhooks. That range makes Krock.io relevant to creative production workflows, though the value depends on whether a team wants project organization and review in the same tool.

Key features

Feedback across media

Time-coded comments help reviewers pinpoint changes in video, while drawings, attachments, and text support more varied feedback. Review and annotation also cover images, audio, and PDFs, including multi-page files. Approval workflows and version comparison give teams ways to structure sign-off and assess revisions; guest access and custom reviewer roles accommodate external feedback. These features are most useful when a project has multiple review rounds, but they do not remove the need to choose a plan with enough storage and seats.

Project coordination and storyboards

Templates, workspaces, workload Gantt charts, and a calendar view give teams a way to coordinate work around their media reviews. Storyboard generation from text adds an ideation tool, rather than limiting the platform to finished-asset approval. Teams focused solely on storyboarding may prefer a dedicated storyboard product, while production groups that need review and coordination together have a broader reason to consider Krock.io.

Security and support

Media files are stored on Amazon S3, and core application servers run on DigitalOcean IaaS. Krock.io says data in transit uses 256-bit HTTPS/SSL encryption and account and project data are encrypted in databases. Two-factor authentication is supported for all individual accounts. The company says user content is not used to teach AI models and is not disclosed to third parties unless required by law. All plans include standard support, with a stated aim to respond within 1–2 business days.

Pricing

Krock.io is freemium, with a 7-day trial and paid plans from $10/user/mo. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes 1 user, 2 GB of storage, 1 workspace, 2 projects, 50 AI Tokens, and unlimited reviewers. It is a useful way for an individual to try the review workflow, but the single-user, two-project, and 2 GB caps limit its fit for ongoing team production. Storage add-ons are not available on Free.

Pro costs 10.00 USD per month, billed per user. It includes an unlimited team size, from 2Tb storage, unlimited projects and workspaces, 4K playback, custom branding, and storage add-ons. This is the practical step up for teams that need more projects, storage, or branded review; per-user billing means the price grows with the number of users. Pro and Unlimited customers can add 1 TB of storage for $10 per month.

Unlimited costs 400.00 USD per month, billed From $400 / 100 Users Included. It offers unlimited collaborators and reviewers, projects, workspaces, and team size at a flat rate. The included 100 users make it a clearer fit for larger organizations than Pro, while its fixed starting cost is difficult to justify for a small group. Both paid plans include standard customer support.

Platforms

Krock.io is available as a browser extension and on macOS, web, and Windows. Recommended browser versions are Chrome 84+, Firefox 70+, Safari 14.1+, and Edge 84+; recommended desktop systems are Windows 7+ and macOS 10.15 Catalina+.

Who it's for

Krock.io is aimed at video production companies, advertising agencies, animation studios, digital agencies, and content creators. It is strongest for teams reviewing media with colleagues or clients while coordinating projects in shared workspaces. Solo users can start on Free, but the plan's storage and project limits make it less suitable for sustained, asset-heavy work.

Pros and cons

Pro: Feedback supports several media types and combines time-codes, drawings, attachments, and text, so review is not limited to video comments.
Pro: Workspaces, templates, Gantt charts, and a calendar put project coordination alongside asset review.
Pro: The Free plan includes unlimited reviewers, allowing external feedback without a reviewer cap.
Con: Free is limited to one user, 2 GB, one workspace, and two projects, making it a trial-sized option for many production teams.
Con: Pro is billed per user, while Unlimited starts at $400.00 USD per month; teams must weigh seat growth against the flat-rate tier.

Alternatives

For a more focused storyboard workflow, Boords has a free single-user plan with 250 AI images per month and unlimited storyboards and scripts. CinemaScape AI is another web-based freemium option, with a free Starter plan covering two projects, ten one-time storyboard generations, a screenplay editor, story canvas, blocking, PDF export, and five languages. Drawstory is a web-based freemium storyboard alternative.

GOGUL is a web-based freemium alternative. Shai is a web-based freemium alternative. Story2Board is a web-based freemium alternative. StoryBirdie is a web-based freemium alternative. LTX Studio is a freemium option available on web and through an API.

Readers comparing broader categories can also explore AI Storyboard Generators, Online Proofing Software, Video Review Software, Storyboard Software, and Creative Project Management Software.

Verdict

Choose Krock.io if your creative team wants media annotation and project coordination in the same workflow, especially when feedback spans video, images, audio, or PDFs. The Free plan is a bounded starting point, while Pro and Unlimited open room for team scale and storage. Look elsewhere if you need only a dedicated storyboard tool or if the paid seat and storage economics do not fit your team.
