Overview

Brands can run content-only jobs, jobs that include posting, Social Blasts or ongoing retainers. The workflow covers creator discovery, product shipping, deadlines, review, revisions, payment and performance tracking, making it suitable for teams coordinating multiple steps in a campaign. Creator payments stay in escrow until the brand approves completed work, linking payment release to review.

Posting jobs can include TikTok Spark Ads codes or Instagram Partnership Ad codes, which let brands boost creator posts. The marketplace operates in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Germany. JoinBrands offers sales calls and email support at support@joinbrands.com.

Key features

Content options span photos, product reviews, unboxings, demos, how-to, custom, green-screen and ad videos, along with TikTok and TikTok Shop videos and Live, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and videos, and Amazon Shoppable Videos. That range is valuable for brands testing formats within one campaign workflow, rather than sourcing each type separately.

In-platform chat, creator ratings, content approval, revisions, usage-rights management, a content library and 19 content certifications support selection, review and reuse. Post analytics and performance tracking help teams assess results. Multi-brand management and team collaborators are relevant to agencies or businesses coordinating multiple brands; API access may also suit teams that need programmatic integration.

TikTok Shop integration provides campaign and affiliate performance insights, but an account can connect only one TikTok Shop at a time. Shopify can import and sync products with read-only product access, but imports only each product’s default variant. A Shopify store can connect to only one JoinBrands account, although one JoinBrands account can connect multiple Shopify stores. These restrictions matter for sellers managing multiple shops or product variants.

Pricing

The free Pay-as-you-go plan costs 0.00 USD per free and charges a 15% platform fee, with $0 Roll Over Cash. It is the low-commitment choice for occasional campaigns, but the higher fee makes it less appealing as creator spending grows.

Start-up costs 99.00 USD per month, with a 12% platform fee and $30 Roll Over Cash /m. It lowers the fee relative to the free plan and may suit smaller teams running campaigns regularly. Pro costs 299.00 USD per month, with a 10% platform fee and $90 Roll Over Cash /m; it is a better fit for heavier campaign activity if the lower fee offsets the monthly charge. Max costs 499.00 USD per month, with an 8% platform fee and $150 Roll Over Cash /m, making it the tier for the highest usage among these plans. The listed plan terms do not establish seat or campaign quotas, so the practical choice should hinge on the fee and roll-over cash against expected spend.

Platforms

JoinBrands is available on web, Android and iOS. Its creator app is available for Android, and the official download page directs users to select an app store. The platform is therefore accessible across web and mobile, though the Android app is specifically described as a creator app.

Who it's for

JoinBrands is aimed at e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands, Amazon and TikTok Shop sellers, marketing agencies, app and software companies, local retailers, and creators. It is most compelling for teams that need creator sourcing, campaign coordination, approvals and payment handling together. A business dependent on multiple TikTok Shops or importing every Shopify variant should account for the integration limits before choosing it.

Pros and cons

Pro: Multiple campaign formats, content types and channels give brands flexibility without narrowing the marketplace to a single kind of creator deliverable.
Pro: Escrow, approval, revisions and tracking bring key campaign steps into one workflow and keep payment release tied to accepted work.
Pro: Shopify product syncing and TikTok Shop performance insights connect the marketplace to two relevant commerce channels.
Con: Paid plans still charge platform fees, from 12% to 8%, while the free plan charges 15%; subscription cost and fees both matter when budgeting.
Con: Only one TikTok Shop can be connected per account, and Shopify imports default variants only; these are real constraints for complex or multi-shop operations.

Alternatives

For a broader browse, start with UGC Platforms or Influencer Marketing Platforms. Choose Billo instead if you want pay-per-video creator content, with a free tier that includes AI scripts and mashup credits. Yotpo Reviews is a different fit for collecting and displaying customer reviews, with a free plan capped at 50 orders per month. Catch+Release lets users search, create projects and collaborate without a subscription, then pay to license content. Taggbox has a free tier with one feed and 500 monthly views for teams focused on collecting and displaying social content. EnTribe offers services at no cost, with terms reserving the right to charge in the future. UGC.CO.UK sells basic video packages starting at 59.00 GBP per once, with creator-set packages that vary. Verdict

Choose JoinBrands if your team needs a single marketplace for creator sourcing, varied campaign formats, approvals and payment workflows, and can make its platform fees worthwhile through recurring use. Look elsewhere if your budget is sensitive to recurring charges and transaction fees, or if your commerce setup depends on multiple TikTok Shop connections or full Shopify variant imports.
