Overview

InColor brings together a large curated illustration library, image transformations, keyword-driven sketch generation, free drawing, and a community for sharing work. That mix gives users several starting points: pick a page, work from an image or idea, or begin on a blank canvas. It is a better fit for people who enjoy experimenting across those modes than for someone who only wants a straightforward coloring book.

Its free plan makes it possible to try the app without a subscription, but includes only a selection of patterns and features and displays ads. Full content access and ad removal are reserved for premium.

Key features

Pages and ways to start

The library contains thousands of curated illustrations, with styles added daily. An AI generator creates black-and-white sketches from keywords, while photo-to-line-art conversion, text-based coloring ideas, and doodle transformation offer alternate routes from an image or concept to a coloring project. These tools make the app less dependent on its preset pages, although the limited free selection means the full range is a paid proposition.

Coloring, drawing, and community

Brushes, gradients, advanced detail controls, freeform coloring, and image importing give users room to work beyond filling a supplied page. A blank-canvas mode supports original art. The community lets users share creations, connect with other creators, and join weekly themed challenges; that social element will appeal to people who want prompts and participation, but is less relevant to those who prefer a private, solitary activity.

Security and keeping work

Eyewind says personal data is stored in secure environments behind firewall-protected servers, while acknowledging that no system is completely secure. Its privacy policy was adopted according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation. More practically for artists, the terms say Eyewind is not obligated to back up user content and may delete it at any time. Keep separate copies of work that matters rather than relying on InColor as its only home.

Pricing

InColor is freemium. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes a selection of patterns and features with ads. It is the sensible starting point for occasional coloring or for deciding whether the broader toolset suits you, but it does not provide all content or an ad-free experience.

Paid plans list premium content and ad removal: the monthly subscription is 15.99 USD per month; the Annually subscription is 29.99 USD per year; the Lifetime Membership is 39.99 USD per once; and the yearly subscription is 59.99 USD per year. Premium Access is described as unlocking all new books each week and features such as brushes, stripes, and frames. The two yearly prices differ substantially, so check the exact subscription option before choosing. The lifetime option avoids a recurring term at the stated one-time price, while the monthly plan suits someone unwilling to commit annually but costs more over an extended period.

Confirm the option and its renewal terms before starting a trial. No seat limits or content quotas are stated.

Platforms

InColor is available on Android, iOS, and macOS. That makes it relevant to users working across mobile devices and Mac, but no Windows or web platform is included.

Who it's for

Choose InColor if you want a flexible casual-art app: guided illustrations for coloring, tools to turn your own images or ideas into sketches, and a canvas for drawing from scratch. It is less suitable if you want a permanently free, ad-free library, need guaranteed retention of in-app work, or only want a minimal coloring experience.

Pros and cons

Pro: Multiple starting points—curated pages, keyword-generated sketches, photo conversion, doodle transformation, and a blank canvas—suit users who like variety.
Pro: Brushes, gradients, detail controls, and image importing support work beyond the supplied illustrations.
Pro: Weekly themed challenges and creator connections add a social reason to return for users who enjoy sharing art.
Con: The free plan has ads and only a selection of patterns and features, so it is not the full experience.
Con: User content may be deleted, and the service is not obligated to back it up; keep important work elsewhere.
Con: The listed yearly plans are priced differently, making careful plan selection important.
