Overview

Founded in 2012 and based in Beverly, Massachusetts, iLeasePro runs as a cloud-based, multi-user service with automatic updates and backups. The company targets private US companies managing 25 to 500 leases, though its entry plans also accommodate smaller portfolios. The web-only platform covers lease administration as well as accounting, rather than treating compliance reports as a standalone task.

Implementation is positioned as quick: users can get started in under five days with SMART import, and most implementations take less than a week. That is useful for companies trying to move a portfolio into a system without a long deployment, but it does not change the need to choose a plan that fits the number of contracts.

Key features

Accounting and ledger workflows

A FASB Classification Wizard, automated journal entries, amortization schedules, and financial disclosure reports provide a substantial accounting workflow. iLeasePro supports both accounting standards and includes ASC 842 compliance reporting, making it a sensible fit for companies that need lease data carried through to financial reporting rather than stored only for administration.

Its Sage Intacct web-services integration synchronizes general ledger, dimensions, and payables. The homepage also describes connections to QuickBooks and other ERP or general-ledger systems, and says the service can provide ledger-agnostic journal entries. Excel export gives teams another way to work with their data. The more detailed synchronization described is for Sage Intacct, so that is the clearest fit for companies seeking an integrated accounting workflow.

Portfolio oversight and analysis

A centralized portfolio, document library, contact management, and automated critical-date alerts bring administrative work together. Lease financial analysis, side-by-side comparisons, what-if scenarios, cash-flow reporting, and more than 50 standard reports give finance teams ways to examine commitments as well as track them. That breadth is valuable for portfolios where lease decisions affect forecasts; a smaller operation needing only reminders and basic records may not need the full analytical toolkit.

Security and access

iLeasePro states that it is SOC 1 Type 2 certified, undergoes bi-annual security audits, and provides role-based access controls and audit trails. Auth0 integration supports single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, social logins, and user authentication and authorization. These controls suit organizations that need managed access and an auditable record of activity.

Pricing

The free Starter plan is billed forever at 0.00 USD per free and allows up to five contracts, with document upload, critical-date alerts, basic reporting, and unlimited users. It is a practical way for a very small portfolio to cover essential administration, but the five-contract ceiling makes it a limited option for the 25-to-500-lease companies the product targets.

iLeaseXpress costs 149.00 USD per month for up to 15 leases. It includes ASC 842 compliance, Excel export, and email support, with no setup fees and cancellation at any time. A 15-day free trial requires no credit card and gives full access to the selected plan's features. This is the lowest-cost paid route, but its 15-lease limit is still below the company's stated target portfolio range.

Essential costs 240.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for up to 50 contracts. Professional costs 480.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for up to 150 contracts. They provide progressively more room than iLeaseXpress, so Essential is the more plausible step-up for a smaller business portfolio, while Professional fits a larger one. Enterprise costs 960.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for up to 500 contracts and includes 10 hours of support. Portfolios above 500 contracts require a custom quote.

The iLeasePro plan has custom pricing based on portfolio size, selected features, and contract term. It includes unlimited leases, document and portfolio management, more than 50 reports, Sage Intacct integration, and virtual support plus five hours of free support. Companies needing that scale or feature set should compare a tailored quote against Enterprise rather than assume the monthly tiers cover unlimited use.

Platforms

iLeasePro is available on the web. Its cloud delivery, automatic updates, and backups suit teams working across multiple users, while phone support runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST. Email responses typically arrive within 24 business hours.

Who it's for

iLeasePro is strongest for private US companies that need lease accounting and portfolio administration together, particularly those using Sage Intacct or needing compliance reporting, automated journal entries, and portfolio-level analysis. A very small portfolio can start on Starter, but teams with more than five contracts should budget for a paid plan. Companies with only a handful of leases and no need for accounting workflows may find the paid tiers excessive.

Pros and cons

Pros: Accounting workflows span classification, journal entries, amortization, and disclosure reporting, reducing the gap between lease tracking and financial reporting.
Pros: More than 50 reports, scenario comparisons, and cash-flow reporting offer useful analytical depth for larger portfolios.
Pros: Starter allows unlimited users, so a small team can share a five-contract portfolio without a seat cap.
Cons: Starter stops at five contracts, and the $149 monthly iLeaseXpress plan stops at 15 leases, putting growing portfolios quickly into higher-cost tiers.
Cons: The 10 hours of support are tied to Enterprise, while the iLeasePro plan's five free support hours are paired with custom pricing.
Cons: The only platform is web, which will not suit teams seeking a native mobile or desktop app.

Verdict

Choose iLeasePro if your company needs lease accounting, administration, and portfolio analysis in one web service, especially if Sage Intacct synchronization matters. The main reason to look elsewhere is cost escalation: the free tier is capped at five contracts, and even the $149.00 USD per month option covers only 15 leases.
