Overview

Havari is a team messaging workspace that brings customer conversations and contact records together across several channels. It suits teams that need shared handling, campaigns and workflow automation in one service. Its breadth is useful, but the monthly credit caps and WhatsApp’s 24-hour rule deserve attention before committing.

Key features

Shared inbox and contact context

SMS, email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger conversations arrive in one shared inbox, linked to contact and company profiles. Custom fields, notes and conversation history give teams context alongside the messages, which is more valuable for ongoing customer relationships than for a business that only sends occasional texts.

Campaigns and automation

Teams can schedule bulk campaigns and track opens, clicks and replies in real time. Automations can start from contacts, inbound messages or ticket-status changes, then send messages or update records. That makes Havari suited to repeatable follow-up, though the monthly task and credit allowances can constrain busier teams.

Connections, security and messaging rules

Havari lists more than 1,000 integrations, including Dentally, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Make and n8n, as well as a REST API. Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365 connections, shared inboxes and email forwarding support teams working across email accounts. Messages and emails are encrypted in transit and at rest, and Havari describes itself as GDPR-compliant.

WhatsApp free-form messages require a recent inbound message within the 24-hour messaging window; after that, an approved template is required. Attachments are limited to 5MB each, with no more than 10 files per message. Those limits matter for teams that rely on outbound WhatsApp follow-ups or routinely exchange larger files.

Pricing

Havari has a free plan and a 14-day trial. The Free plan costs £0 forever and provides 20 credits per month for email, Messenger and Instagram, with no option to add credits. It is a practical way to start on those channels, but it excludes SMS and WhatsApp and its small allowance is unlikely to suit sustained campaign use.

Starter costs £19 per month and includes 250 credits, 250 automation tasks and 250 API calls per month, plus room for 5,000 contacts and 20 templates. Growth is £59 per month, raising those monthly allowances to 1,000 and the contact and template caps to 15,000 and 50. Business costs £129 per month, with 2,500 credits, tasks and API calls, up to 100,000 contacts and 100 templates. Enterprise costs £229 per month, with 5,000 monthly credits, tasks and API calls, up to 1,000,000 contacts and 1,000 templates; custom volume is available above 55,000 credits.

Starter is the entry point for a small team that needs paid-channel access and modest automation. Growth and Business offer progressively more headroom for teams with larger contact lists and heavier workflows. Enterprise increases those limits substantially, but teams should still compare expected message volume with the allowance. The separate included-messages figure is 250 messages per month, so confirm how that applies to the channels and credits your team uses.

Platforms

Havari lists Android, iOS, web and API access. Its iOS app supports replies across the supported channels, contact management and push notifications. Support is available by email at support@havari.com or by phone at 0333 1888 388, Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm GMT.

Who it's for

Havari is a strong fit for teams that want customer messaging, contact records, campaigns and automation in one shared workspace, especially those already using its named integrations or supported email services. It is less compelling for a business that only needs basic texting, has high-volume messaging needs beyond its plan allowances, or depends on WhatsApp messages outside the 24-hour window without template use.

Pros and cons

Pro: Five channels share one inbox, with contact and company context attached to conversations, helping teams avoid fragmented customer histories.
Pro: Campaign tracking and trigger-based automations cover both outbound follow-up and routine record updates.
Pro: The free plan offers a no-cost starting point, while paid plans scale contact, credit, task and API limits.
Con: Free access is limited to email, Messenger and Instagram, capped at 20 credits monthly, and does not allow extra credits.
Con: WhatsApp free-form messaging depends on a recent inbound message; an approved template is required beyond 24 hours.
Con: Attachments cannot exceed 5MB each, and each message can include at most 10 files.

Alternatives

For a broader category comparison, browse Two-Way SMS Software. Consider Chekkit if a free plan for one user with a CRM pipeline, online booking, quotes, invoices and payment tools better matches your needs. Sociocs is another freemium option; its free plan covers two channels, one user and 1,000 messages per month. Choose Podium Webchat if you want a quote tailored to your industry.

Textedly may suit a team focused on SMS volume: its Basic plan is $29.00 USD per month for 500 messages monthly, or 600 messages per month with annual billing. DialPhone Contact Center is an alternative for teams seeking a contact-center service with 20+ channels and tools including a unified agent desktop, call and screen recording, and real-time wallboards. DialPhone Business SMS is another paid option to compare. EZ Texting may be a better fit for SMS campaigns: its Launch plan is $20.00 USD per month billed annually and includes up to 500 contacts, 6,000 yearly credits and one user. Heymarket is worth considering for teams seeking a paid shared inbox with two-way messaging, templates and unlimited contacts; its Standard plan is $49 per user per month billed annually, with a two-user minimum.

Verdict

Choose Havari if your team needs shared conversations, customer context and automation across several channels, with integrations and mobile access in the same workspace. Its main advantage is bringing those jobs together; look elsewhere if your message volume exceeds the plan allowances, if you need larger attachments, or if WhatsApp follow-up must remain free-form after the 24-hour window.
