Overview

GloriaFood combines online ordering for delivery, takeaway and dine-in with table reservations and pre-ordering. It is best suited to restaurants, coffee shops and food trucks that want a broad ordering setup without a monthly charge per location.

The free offer is unusually open-ended on order volume and locations, but the April 30, 2027 end-of-life date makes it a poor foundation for a new long-term system. The maker says it will support existing customers through that date.

Key features

Ordering and reservations

The free service plan includes website and mobile ordering, QR code ordering, scheduled orders, table reservations, reports, promotions and third-party integrations. Smart ordering links can be shared through Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. That range gives smaller operators multiple ways to direct customers to ordering without needing a separate channel for each platform.

Restaurants can take orders and bookings in the iOS and Android app, mark items out of stock, pause services and print accepted orders through a thermal printer. These controls are useful when availability or service capacity changes during a shift. The plan includes unlimited orders and locations, with no commission per order, so its free tier avoids the usual volume-based tradeoff.

Integrations, payments and APIs

GloriaFood lists POS and delivery integrations including Clover, Focus, Wolt, Lightspeed and Shipday. Its Food Order API provides order details after a manager accepts an order, while the menu API supplies the latest menu to third-party systems. These options make the service more relevant to restaurants connecting ordering with other tools, though the order API’s post-acceptance handoff may not suit workflows that need order data earlier.

Online payments are optional and send funds directly to the restaurant’s account through a connected payment gateway. The maker also offers reservation deposits as a paid service, which can help restaurants charge for accepted bookings rather than making every reservation free.

Pricing

GloriaFood uses a freemium model. The free service plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes unlimited orders, unlimited locations, no per-order commission and no monthly fee, alongside the ordering and reservation features described above. It is the clearest fit for operators who need to keep recurring costs down, provided the end-of-life date is acceptable.

Restaurant POS System: 49.00 USD per month, billed per location, with a 2-year commitment and a free POS starter kit. The commitment and per-location billing make this a more consequential choice than the no-cost ordering plan; it is better suited to a restaurant ready to commit to the POS setup.
Online / Credit Card Payment Service: 29.00 USD per month. It enables online payments through a gateway, with payments going directly to the restaurant’s account.
Table Reservation Deposits: 0.50 USD per month, billed only for accepted bookings. This is the lowest-cost paid add-on and charges based on accepted reservations.
Advanced Promo Marketing: 19.00 USD per month for client segmentation and target profiling across multiple promotions. It is aimed at operators who want to target campaigns rather than simply run promotions.

The paid services are priced separately, so adding several can materially change the economics of a free core plan. The end-of-life date also limits the useful horizon for any new commitment, especially the POS plan’s two-year term.

Platforms

GloriaFood supports web, iOS, Android and API use. The customer-facing ordering options and restaurant-facing mobile app cover both sides of the operation, while the APIs are relevant to businesses connecting menus and accepted orders to other systems.

Who it's for

GloriaFood is a sensible short-term option for independent restaurants, coffee shops and food trucks that want ordering, reservations and basic operational controls without per-order fees. It is less compelling for businesses choosing software for long-term continuity, or for those unwilling to take on a two-year POS commitment close to the announced end of life.

Pros and cons

Pros

No-cost scale: The free plan has unlimited orders and locations and charges no monthly fee or per-order commission.
Broad ordering access: Website, mobile, QR code and social smart-link options support multiple customer entry points.
Useful shift controls: The app can mark items unavailable, pause service and print accepted orders through a thermal printer.
Optional operating tools: POS, payment, deposit and promotion services let restaurants add capabilities selectively.

Cons

Fixed end date: Support for existing customers ends with the announced April 30, 2027 end of life, making it difficult to recommend for a durable new deployment.
POS commitment: The POS costs 49.00 USD per month per location and requires a 2-year commitment, which outlasts the announced service lifespan for a new customer.
Add-ons change the cost: Payments, deposits and advanced marketing are separate paid services rather than part of the free plan.

Alternatives

Fee Free Ordering is worth considering for a free ordering service when a cap of 100 orders per month is workable; GloriaFood instead offers unlimited orders and locations without commission. Ordering.Tools has a free tier capped at 20 orders per month and includes an AI assistant subject to usage limits, so it may suit a lower-volume operation that wants those AI functions. Quiteful is a menu-focused alternative whose free tier allows 20 active items, one menu and one location, without an analytics dashboard or POS integrations.

Prestau Menu Author is another free-plan option for web-based menu management. TabTake Reservations has a free Direct plan for one location and up to 150 orders monthly, but it excludes reservations. Restolabs is a paid alternative with a free trial and a Basic plan at 199.00 USD per month; ChowNow Online Ordering is paid, with its Launch plan at 229.00 USD per month plus transaction fees and a setup fee. FineDine is a paid alternative with a free trial and a Starter plan at 27.00 EUR per month billed annually.

Verdict

Choose GloriaFood if you are a small food business that needs a capable ordering and reservation setup at no monthly or per-order cost, and can accept a service with a defined end date. Its unlimited free plan is the main draw; the April 30, 2027 end of life is the strongest reason to look elsewhere, particularly before taking on a long POS commitment.
