Overview

Flowie is an orchestration platform for finance and procurement teams that need documents to trigger work across business systems. It will suit organizations looking to connect document processing with approvals, supplier onboarding, and policy controls. Its breadth of connectors is a strength, but the Free plan stops short of workflows and caps document volume.

Key features

Document processing and approvals

Flowie’s AI agents read documents, choose routing, and carry out actions in connected systems. The platform lists 16 products and eight pre-trained agents, alongside approval workflows, form-based intake, request catalogs, supplier onboarding, and policy controls. These capabilities make it relevant to teams seeking to coordinate procurement and finance work rather than simply capture documents. The Free plan, however, offers basic processing without workflows, so it cannot provide the full orchestration experience.

Integrations and security

The integration catalog spans 112 pre-built connectors across 10 categories and supports more than 30 ERP systems, including SAP, Sage, Odoo, Dynamics, NetSuite, Cegid, Workday, and Pennylane. Support for REST API, GraphQL, SOAP/XML, webhooks, EDI, SFTP, AS2, cXML, OCI, and Peppol BIS 3.0 gives the platform several routes to exchange data. Flowie says custom integrations ship in 2–4 weeks, a useful option when a needed connection is not pre-built.

Flowie holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and reports a Cybervadis score of 878/1000, assessed October 4, 2024. It says data at rest is encrypted with AES-256 and data in transit with TLS 1.2 minimum, with TLS 1.3 preferred. Customer data residency is in the European Union, with Paris as the primary region and Belgium for disaster recovery. Organizations that require SOC 2 Type II should note that Flowie does not currently hold it; its programme is scoped for completion in Q3 2026.

Pricing

Flowie uses a freemium model, with a 30-day trial and paid pricing from €0.33. The Growth plan is €12.00 per month, billed monthly; annual billing is shown with 17% savings. Growth covers all document types, with a choice of basic processing, workflows, or AI agents. Customers pay for documents sent or received, and can receive up to a 10% bundle discount with three or more document types. The usage-based document charge means the €12.00 monthly price is not the whole cost for teams with substantial volume.

Free costs 0.00 EUR per free, billed forever. It covers all document types, one entity, and up to 24 documents per month (300 per year), but provides basic processing only and no workflows. That cap makes it better for a small-volume evaluation than an operational workflow rollout. Free onboarding is self-serve; Growth onboarding is guided by Flowie over 2–4 weeks.

Enterprise has custom pricing and unlimited document volume. Its onboarding is a custom implementation with dedicated resources, making it the fit for organizations that need an implementation tailored to their scale. The plans do not state seat allowances.

Platforms

Flowie is available on the web and as a self-hosted option, with API access. The range suits teams that need integration flexibility, though it does not establish a native mobile app offering.

Who it's for

Flowie is best suited to finance and procurement teams that handle recurring documents across multiple systems and need approvals, policy controls, or supplier onboarding tied into those processes. Its ERP and protocol coverage may help organizations with varied systems, while the Free tier offers a way to begin at low volume. It is a weaker fit for teams needing workflows without a paid plan, or for buyers whose security requirements mandate an existing SOC 2 Type II report.

Pros and cons

Pros: Broad connector and protocol coverage can support workflows across a varied finance and procurement stack.
Pros: AI document routing, approvals, policy controls, and supplier onboarding address more than document intake alone.
Pros: EU data residency, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, and stated encryption standards provide concrete security commitments.
Cons: Free is limited to 24 documents per month (300 per year), one entity, and no workflows.
Cons: Growth’s €12.00 per month price sits alongside charges for documents sent or received, which complicates budgeting as volume rises.
Cons: Flowie does not currently hold SOC 2 Type II, which rules it out for buyers requiring that certification now.

Alternatives

For tax provision or adjacent needs, consider CSC Corptax if you want enterprise corporate tax software and are comfortable requesting a demo for pricing. Lucasys Tax Provision, PowerPlan Tax Provision, TaxLab Nucleus, and TaxProvision.net are paid web options for readers comparing tax-provision products. Tax Series is another paid option, with a free trial and a fixed licensing fee based on scope determined during proof of concept.

Kleos is a paid Android and iOS product with per-user Core and Advanced plans, so it is a different option for readers focused on mobile access. OneStream is a paid platform spanning web, mobile, Windows, API, and self-hosted environments; choose it for that broader platform range if it suits your requirements.

Verdict

Choose Flowie if your finance or procurement team needs document-driven workflows across a varied systems stack and can budget around document volume. Its combination of orchestration features and connector breadth is the main reason to shortlist it. Look elsewhere if your budget depends on predictable flat pricing, you need workflows at no cost, or SOC 2 Type II is a current requirement.
