Overview

FlexiQuiz is a quiz and assessment platform for educators, trainers, and organizations that need to build and deliver learning activities. Its broad mix of question formats, scoring controls, and learner reporting makes it useful for more than simple knowledge checks, but tight free-plan response limits make it a poor fit for sustained use without a paid plan.

It suits teams that want quizzes, exams, learner access, and results in one workflow. Choose it when those assessment and reporting tools matter; look elsewhere if your priority is a higher free response allowance or a narrowly focused quiz format.

Key features

Creation and assessment

Questions can be written manually, imported with an Excel template, or generated with AI. FlexiQuiz supports 11 question types, including multiple choice, file upload, essay, hotspot, and matching text. That range accommodates varied assessments, although the free plan includes only eight types.

Assessment options include automatic scoring and manual grading, timers, randomized questions, branching logic, and a question bank. Scoring can use whole-question or weighted answer-option points, with partial credit, negative points, or unscored questions. Tab-switch detection and full-screen options can add friction to attempts to leave a test, while customizable certificates provide a completion record. These controls give formal assessments more structure than a basic quiz maker, but they do not replace a dedicated proctoring setup.

Learner access and results

Learners can use respondent portals to reach assigned content, and groups organize courses or classes. Quizzes can also be distributed by link, email invitation, access code, QR code, website embed, or print. Results can be examined at quiz, participant, response, group, and question level, with PDF and spreadsheet exports. This combination is useful for instructors and training teams that need both flexible delivery and follow-up analysis.

Integrations and security

Integration options include SMTP, API and webhooks, e-commerce, single sign-on, and HTML embedding. Quiz sales pages connect to Stripe, and paid plans list Stripe payment integration. FlexiQuiz says data is hosted on AWS in the USA, encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256, including backups. Administrators, trainers, and respondents can enable two-factor authentication.

Pricing

FlexiQuiz is freemium. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and allows unlimited quizzes, up to 10 questions per quiz, 20 responses per quiz and 20 responses total per month. It also includes five respondent portals and 1 GB of storage. The monthly response cap makes it suitable for trying the workflow or running occasional small quizzes, not regular classes with larger cohorts.

Essentials costs 17.00 USD per month, billed $17 / month or $204 billed yearly. It raises capacity to 500 responses per month, removes the question-per-quiz limit, and includes one administrator and 2 GB of storage. This is the entry paid tier for an individual who needs routine quizzes but can work within that response allowance.

Premium costs 25.00 USD per month, billed $25 / month or $300 billed yearly. It includes 2,000 responses per month, two administrators or trainers, 10 GB of storage, and up to 800 respondent portals. The extra staff capacity and portals make it a better fit for organizations managing multiple groups, though the monthly response quota still matters for high-volume testing.

Enterprise costs 60.00 USD per month, billed $60 / month or $720 billed yearly. It raises the limit to 25,000 responses per month and includes 15 administrators or trainers, 100 GB of storage, APIs and webhooks, single sign-on, and priority support 24/7. It is the clearest fit for larger teams that need integrations, access controls, and substantially more capacity. The plan comparison also lists a help centre and 24/7 email support; Enterprise adds priority support 24/7.

Platforms

FlexiQuiz supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, web, and API access, offering options across common device platforms as well as integration workflows.

Who it's for

FlexiQuiz is aimed at educators, trainers, and organizations, including healthcare and government teams, small and medium-sized businesses, nonprofits, and large enterprises. Its portals, groups, reporting levels, and escalating administrator allowances suit structured training and class-based assessment. Solo users running only occasional short quizzes may find the free limits workable; anyone with recurring learner cohorts is more likely to need a paid plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: Multiple creation routes and 11 question types support varied assessment formats, including file uploads and essays.
Pros: Manual grading, weighted scoring, partial credit, branching, and randomized questions provide useful control over assessment design.
Pros: Portals, groups, multi-level reporting, and spreadsheet or PDF exports support organized delivery and review.
Cons: The free plan caps quizzes at 10 questions and 20 responses, with only 20 responses per month, so it has little headroom for routine use.
Cons: Response quotas remain central on paid plans, ranging from 500 per month on Essentials to 25,000 on Enterprise.

Verdict

FlexiQuiz is a strong fit for educators and training teams that want varied assessment formats, learner portals, and detailed reporting in one platform. Its main advantage is the breadth of assessment and delivery controls; its main drawback is that the free tier's small response allowance quickly pushes regular use toward a paid plan. Choose it when structured assessment and reporting justify that upgrade, and look elsewhere when free volume or a more specialized format matters more.
