Overview

Fleetly is a cloud platform for GPS tracking, video telematics and fleet operations. It is best suited to commercial fleets and transport operators that want these capabilities in one system, though custom pricing makes the quote and proposed package central to the buying decision.

Alongside vehicle and asset tracking, Fleetly brings together dispatch, maintenance, driver coaching and camera footage. That breadth can suit operators managing both daily fleet activity and driving risk. Fleetly says its GPS tracking and sensor-reading platform is made and hosted within Microsoft Azure, and that support tickets receive a response within 24 hours.

Key features

Tracking and fleet operations

Real-time GPS tracking, geofencing and trip replay help managers monitor vehicles or assets and review journeys. Route optimisation and dispatch management extend tracking into delivery planning, with ERP integration available for those workflows. Service reminders, fuel management and temperature monitoring cover additional operational needs; their value will depend on whether the fleet needs those functions in the same system.

Driver safety and video

Driver behaviour analysis, coaching and AI-based alerts give managers tools for identifying and responding to risky driving. Risk scoring, event detection and compliance tools add further safety functions, while video evidence can help document incidents. Fleetly describes HD video loop recording and multi-channel cameras supporting up to 16 channels, a substantial configuration for fleets that need more than a basic dash camera.

Devices and integration

Fleetly says it supports more than 75 native devices and approximately 2,000 devices from leading manufacturers. That range may help fleets with varied hardware, but buyers should confirm that their specific devices and required functions are supported. Its Webfleet Integration combines fleet tools with dash cameras, multi-camera systems and TfL Progressive Safe Systems.

Pricing

Fleetly is paid, with custom pricing. The company promotes no long-term contract and invites prospective customers to request a quote and demo. There are no published plan tiers or per-vehicle rates to compare, so the practical decision is whether the proposed package and commercial terms fit the fleet; request both alongside the demonstration.

Fleetly Live version 1.4.1.1 is listed as a desktop download for monitoring supported vehicles and viewing live streams or playback natively. The download is published 01/03/2023; no separate price or plan terms are given for it.

Platforms

Fleetly supports iOS, macOS, web and Windows. A driver mobile app is also among its capabilities. The platform mix can accommodate desktop fleet management and mobile use, though the listed desktop download is specifically for supported vehicles and camera streams or playback.

Who it's for

Fleetly is aimed at commercial fleets and transport operators, with use cases spanning logistics, utilities, schools, emergency services, taxis, public-sector fleets and insurance. Its combination of tracking, video and operations tools is most relevant when a team needs several of those functions together. A buyer seeking only a simple tracking tool, or one that requires firm public pricing before engaging with sales, may prefer to compare other options.

Fleetly is a service from technology company Intelex, based in the United Kingdom at 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 6EB.

Pros and cons

Broad operational coverage: Tracking, dispatch, maintenance, fuel and temperature tools can bring varied fleet tasks into one platform.
Deep camera support: HD loop recording and support for up to 16 camera channels suit fleets with more demanding video needs.
Wide device compatibility: Support for native and third-party devices may help operators with mixed hardware, subject to confirming individual models.
Quote-led buying: Custom pricing and a required quote make it difficult to compare cost without starting a sales conversation.
Support response target: Fleetly says it answers support tickets within 24 hours, but that stated response window is not a resolution-time commitment.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, browse Fleet Safety Software. FleetCam is another paid option with pricing customized by fleet size, products and contract terms, with most fleets priced per vehicle per month. Consider it when that proposal structure is a better fit. GoFleexo Driver Safety offers a custom enterprise solution mapped to modules, integrations, deployment architecture and rollout sequence; it may suit buyers who want those aspects tailored explicitly.

LightMetrics RideView uses custom pricing by quote, while Radius Driver Safety Software bases pricing on fleet size, vehicle type, contract length, features and installation method. 5Keys Engage directs buyers to contact Smith System for pricing details. These are options to compare if their sales and pricing approach better matches your buying process.

Lytx Fleet Safety offers a free trial and requests fleet size and industry in its sales form, so it is worth considering if a trial matters to your evaluation. Powerfleet VisionAI covers light, medium and heavy-duty vehicle operations with single- or dual-lens cameras. Geotab has a paid GO Plan with core features, advanced safety and AI scoring, compliance, predictive maintenance and fuel monitoring; compare it if those capabilities are your priority.

Verdict

Fleetly is a strong candidate for commercial operators that want tracking, video, driver safety and day-to-day fleet tools in one platform, especially when multi-camera support or ERP-linked delivery planning matters. Its breadth is the main reason to choose it; custom pricing and a quote-led purchase are the main reasons to look elsewhere or compare proposals before proceeding.
