Overview

Fairmarkit brings request intake, supplier discovery, sourcing event automation and bid evaluation into one platform. The workflow is designed to move a request toward a supplier award, while keeping evaluation decisions with the procurement team. That combination will appeal to organizations seeking a coordinated sourcing process rather than a standalone event tool.

The platform supports sourcing events, reverse auctions, bid comparison, negotiation workflows and multiple event types. Its enterprise orientation makes it a stronger fit for established procurement operations than for buyers looking for a low-cost self-serve tool.

Key features

Intake and sourcing automation

The Intake Agent captures requester needs, asks follow-up questions and routes requests to the appropriate team. In practice, that gives procurement a structured starting point before a sourcing event is built. Fairmarkit can also automate supplier matching, event sending, bundling and rule-based awards for suitable events. The qualification matters: automation is not positioned as a fit for every sourcing situation.

Supplier discovery and evaluation

Fairmarkit says its Supplier Discovery Agent searches a pool of more than 500,000 suppliers, matching on category fit, manufacturer compatibility and likelihood to respond. That can help teams broaden supplier discovery while keeping relevance and response probability in view.

The Evaluation Agent supports bid comparison, award scenario modeling, scoring across multiple stakeholders and AI-assisted analysis. The team retains control of scoring decisions, a sensible boundary for organizations that want assistance with analysis without handing over the final judgment.

Integrations and security

Integrations include SAP Ariba, Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday, Zip, Amazon Business, SpendHQ, Candex and Supplier.io. Connections use standardized API connectors or file-based methods, with bidirectional data flows. This range is useful for procurement teams working across several business systems, though the platform’s value will depend on how well its connections fit their existing setup.

Fairmarkit states that it is SOC 2 compliant and ISO 27001 certified. Its security controls include multi-tenant database isolation, least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication and encryption of confidential data. Customers own their data; Fairmarkit says it does not sell it and removes deleted customer data from its systems within 90 days. Support is available through in-platform case management, email or telephone.

Pricing

Fairmarkit is paid, with custom pricing. Its Fairmarkit plan is an enterprise procurement sourcing platform, and prospective customers are directed to request a demo for details. That model makes sense for enterprise teams evaluating a broad procurement workflow, but it gives smaller buyers no published price to compare before engaging with sales.

Autonomous sourcing has an additional availability constraint: interested customers should contact their Customer Success Manager to use it. Buyers considering Fairmarkit for agent-driven sourcing should confirm access and terms as part of the sales conversation.

Platforms

Fairmarkit is available on web and through an API. This suits procurement operations integrating sourcing with business systems; no mobile platform is included in its listed platform coverage.

Who it's for

Fairmarkit is aimed at enterprise procurement teams sourcing across categories of spend. It is a strong candidate for organizations that need intake, supplier discovery, event automation and bid evaluation within a connected process, especially where integrations with existing procurement and business systems matter.

It is less suited to buyers seeking transparent, self-serve pricing or immediate autonomous sourcing access without a Customer Success Manager. Teams that want a simpler, lower-commitment entry point may prefer to compare freemium or explicitly priced alternatives.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad sourcing workflow: Intake, supplier matching, events and bid evaluation sit in one platform, reducing the need to piece together separate sourcing stages.
AI support with human control: The Evaluation Agent assists analysis and scenarios while leaving scoring decisions to the team.
Extensive integration roster: Named connections include major procurement, ERP, service-management and spend tools, with API and file-based options.
Defined data and security commitments: Certifications, access controls, customer data ownership and a 90-day deletion window give enterprise buyers concrete points for review.

Cons

Custom pricing: Buyers cannot assess the cost from a published rate, making early budget comparisons harder.
Autonomous sourcing access requires contact: Teams need to involve their Customer Success Manager to use this capability.
Enterprise focus: The breadth may be unnecessary for smaller teams seeking a lightweight sourcing tool.

Alternatives

Keelvar is another paid enterprise-scale sourcing platform, available on web and through an API; its pricing is also unpublished, so it is a relevant comparison for teams weighing enterprise sourcing options.

JAGGAER Sourcing is a paid, web-based alternative. SAFAL Strategic Sourcing is also paid and web-based.

Market Dojo may suit buyers who want a freemium option: it offers a free plan, while its Simple Sourcing annual licence is 500.00 GBP per year and includes simple RFx and eAuctions, templates and libraries, Excel integration and custom fields. Its listed pricing line also says “billed £500.00 /month (billed annually),” so buyers should clarify the billing amount before choosing it.

Workday Strategic Sourcing is a paid, web-based option. Arkestro is paid and web-based, while ATLA Source is paid.

Procol Strategic Sourcing is worth comparing for teams that want web and mobile access: it supports Android, iOS and web, has no free plan, and uses custom pricing with modules and add-ons available by quote.

Verdict

Fairmarkit is a strong fit for enterprise procurement teams that want one platform to coordinate intake, supplier discovery, sourcing events and bid evaluation, backed by broad integrations and human-led scoring decisions. Its main drawbacks are custom pricing and the Customer Success Manager requirement for autonomous sourcing. Choose it for workflow breadth and enterprise integration; look elsewhere for a clearly priced, self-serve option.
