Overview

Design.com combines logo generation with tools for print and digital materials, branding, and websites. That range can help a new business pull together several launch assets without switching services. The trade-off is that its logo access is narrower than the breadth of the platform suggests: edits and variations are unlimited for one logo, but using a different library logo requires another subscription.

Key features

The logo generator takes a business name or prompt plus keywords, then produces options that users can filter and customize. Free users can download a selection of logos in vector PDF, EPS, and SVG as well as JPG and PNG. Logo downloads include those formats, with MP4 and GIF also available for animated logos. Transparent exports and commercial use rights are supported. Font files are not downloadable, and the standard license is non-exclusive, so another customer may use the same design. That makes the service less suitable for a business that needs exclusive ownership or editable font files.

More than 50 tools cover logos, websites, business cards, flyers, posters, presentations, link-in-bio pages, background removal, and business or domain name tools. The brand kit adds a way to keep assets consistent. The website builder supports templates, brand colors and logo, contact forms, online payments, hosting, and custom-domain connection; it can also link to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This is a useful breadth for businesses building a presence across channels, though some of those website features require a paid tier.

Pricing

The pricing model is freemium. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes AI logo generation, full customization, a brand kit, high-resolution PNG and JPG downloads, vector EPS, SVG, and PDF files, and commercial use rights. Its selected-logo offering makes it a practical way to get usable assets without a subscription, but it does not remove the non-exclusive license or one-logo subscription boundary.

Starter costs 9.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and adds access to 50+ design tools and 630,000+ templates. It suits users who need a wider design toolkit but not the website builder. Value costs 14.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes everything in Starter plus the website builder, making it the relevant step up for a business that needs a site with payments or custom-domain support. Premium costs 19.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and adds link-in-bio tools and digital business cards to everything in Value. The upgrade is most relevant to businesses that need those extra formats; none of the paid tiers changes the subscription scope of one logo. The pricing summary also gives a paid-from figure of $3/mo (annual), distinct from the monthly plan prices above.

Platforms

Design.com is available on the web. That suits users working in a browser, but it is not a listed choice for someone seeking a native mobile app.

Who it's for

Design.com is a strong fit for entrepreneurs and small businesses that need a logo, supporting marketing assets, and possibly a website in one service. Free vector downloads make it worth considering even before paying. Look elsewhere if exclusive logo rights, downloadable font files, or subscriptions spanning multiple library logos are central requirements.

Pros and cons

Pro: Free downloads include vector formats and commercial use rights, giving budget-conscious businesses usable files without a paid plan.
Pro: The tool range spans print, digital, and website work, while Value and Premium add website and social-presence features.
Con: A subscription covers one logo; a different library design requires another subscription.
Con: The standard logo license is non-exclusive, and font files cannot be downloaded, limiting ownership and handoff options.

Alternatives

Wix Logo Maker is worth considering if mobile access matters: it supports Android, iOS, and web, and its free plan includes 120 AI credits per month, capped at 30 per day, with up to 20 logos estimated. BrandCrowd Logo Maker is another web-based freemium option; its free plan offers selected free logos with editing and downloads, while its 9.00 USD per month Starter plan includes unlimited logo edits and high-resolution and vector downloads.

Logo Diffusion may suit users who prioritize AI generation credits: its free plan gives 24 credits per month and about 12 logos, but downloads are watermarked 512x512 images and commercial rights are excluded. SologoAI has a free plan with 10 one-time Sologo credits for new accounts; logo generation is included, and name-to-logo and brand-kit generation use no credits.

Zoviz is an alternative to consider for a different platform mix, including Android, iOS, macOS, web, and API access. Brandmark offers one-time logo-package pricing, including a 35.00 USD Basic package for PNG and vector files. LOGO.com has a free web plan with one logo, PNG-only output, and 100 MB of media storage. Looka is another freemium web-based logo and brand-kit option.

Verdict

Choose Design.com if you are launching a business and want a free vector-capable logo option plus a broad set of brand tools, with paid website building when needed. Its main advantages are breadth and free commercial-use exports; its main reasons to look elsewhere are the non-exclusive license and the extra subscription needed for another library logo.
