Overview

BrickControl is construction management software for contractors and construction firms that need estimating, project controls and purchasing in the same system. It is best suited to teams that want to follow costs from estimate to execution, though small teams should weigh its per-user charges carefully.

SHM, a Madrid-based software developer founded in 1981, positions BrickControl for businesses ranging from a handful of user accounts to large multinationals. Its broad construction-cycle scope is a strength; the monthly entry plan’s two-user allowance is a meaningful constraint for growing teams.

Key features

Estimating and planning

Detailed estimates, feasibility analysis, site assessments and price databases support early project work, while scheduling and bid management carry plans forward. This breadth will appeal to firms that want estimating and project planning together rather than separate tools.

Execution and cost control

Teams can track progress and progress certificates alongside resources, materials, labor and machinery costs. Reports compare estimated costs with actual execution costs in real time, making the product relevant to managers who need ongoing budget visibility, not just an initial estimate.

Procurement and integrations

Supplier and purchase-order tools sit alongside stock, warehouse and inventory management; document management is also included. Integrations named by BrickControl include Reviso, QuickBooks, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Holded and SAP. Custom integrations can be built through its REST API, but REST API access and accounting integrations are listed as optional Premium services; Enterprise lists Sage 200, Oracle NetSuite, SAP and Dynamics 365 integrations. Businesses should account for those plan distinctions before treating an integration as included.

Security, data and support

BrickControl says customer data is stored in Amazon data centers, access data is encrypted, and customers set access permissions. Subscribers can download backups while subscribed. After cancellation, data is retained for one week before deletion, so customers who need records longer should plan to retrieve their backups in time. Support requests go by email to support@brickcontrol.com and automatically receive a ticket tracking number.

Pricing

BrickControl has no free plan. Its 14-day trial includes all features and requires no credit card, offering a useful way to assess the workflow before committing. All three listed monthly plans advertise a 50% discount for the first three months for new clients; the prices below are the stated monthly subscription rates.

Plan	Price	Included users and support	Best fit
Basic	64.00 USD per month	2 users; additional user 64 USD / month; Silver Support	Small teams that can work within two accounts
Business	129.00 USD per month	3 users; additional user 77 USD / month; Silver Support; 3 query resolution sessions	Teams needing a third account and a defined allowance of query sessions
PREMIUM	194.00 USD per month	5 users; additional user 90 USD / month; Gold Support; REST API and accounting integrations listed as optional services	Firms that need more included accounts or higher support, subject to integration costs
ENTERPRISE	Custom pricing	Contract the users you need; Platinum Support; custom developments and integrations listed as optional services; annual plan option	Larger organizations seeking a tailored user count or development work

The lower tiers keep the starting cost clear, but extra users are charged separately and become progressively more expensive by plan. Basic is the least costly fit for a two-person operation; Business adds only one included user, while Premium raises the allowance to five and upgrades support. Enterprise is the route for organizations with larger or changing seat needs, but requires custom pricing. A local server installation appears as an option requiring further information, while BrickControl describes the product as a web application that needs an internet connection.

Platforms

BrickControl lists Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web and Windows. Its web application requires an internet connection, so teams needing dependable offline or local-server use should confirm that deployment requirement before choosing it.

Who it's for

BrickControl is a strong candidate for construction businesses that want estimates, schedules, field execution costs, procurement and reporting tied together. The range of plans and enterprise option address different organization sizes, but the included-user caps and paid additional seats matter for crews that need broad account access. It is less compelling for a buyer seeking a free ongoing plan or a system that can be relied on without an internet connection.

Pros and cons

Pro: It covers estimating, scheduling, progress, costs, purchasing and inventory, which can keep project controls and procurement in one construction-focused platform.
Pro: The trial lasts 14 days, includes all features and needs no credit card, allowing evaluation before a paid subscription.
Pro: Real-time estimated-versus-actual cost comparisons give managers a direct way to monitor budget performance during execution.
Con: There is no free plan, and the least expensive plan includes only two users; adding seats increases the monthly bill.
Con: REST API and accounting integrations are optional services on Premium, so the plan price alone may not cover a business's integration needs.
Con: The web application requires internet access, limiting its fit for teams that need offline operation.

Alternatives

For a contractor who wants a free starting point, Fieseros has a free plan with 100 lifetime jobs, leads and customers, quotes and estimates, a basic calendar, invoices and payments, and before-and-after photos. That capped free plan is a different proposition from BrickControl’s paid construction-cycle platform.

Ruh AI offers a risk-free first month on real bids, with a human estimator reviewing and signing every line; it suits a buyer focused on bid estimating rather than BrickControl’s broader project and procurement scope.

GivenHansco is another paid construction software option.

For concrete dispatchers who need unlimited customers, jobs, drivers and trucks with a stated monthly rate, C-Ment Dispatch costs 399.00 USD per month and includes email support with a one-business-day response. It is a more dispatch-focused alternative than BrickControl’s wider construction management scope.

GoBuild quotes after a demo and includes unlimited jobs, every feature and the whole crew without add-ons, making it worth considering when an all-inclusive crew plan matters more than a published entry price.

For teams centered on lookahead planning, Planning Ops includes three working seats for 149.00 USD per month, charges $20/mo per additional seat and allows unlimited free read-only users. That seat structure may suit teams with many viewers, while BrickControl offers broader construction-cycle and procurement functions.

TCLI Concrete Estimating Software is a quote-priced option for buyers focused on concrete estimating; its subscriptions include all features and support.

Concrete ERP is another option for concrete businesses comparing ERP plans.

Verdict

BrickControl is best for construction firms that want estimating, execution cost tracking and procurement under one roof, with reporting that compares planned and actual costs as work progresses. Its main advantage is that breadth; its main reason to look elsewhere is the cost of extending seat counts and optional integrations, alongside the need for an internet connection. Small teams can start with the two-user Basic plan, while larger firms should price the users and services they actually need before committing.
