Overview

AskYourPDF is a document-focused AI service for getting answers and summaries from files. Users can chat with uploaded PDFs or text documents, create an AI agent for a website, and fill PDF forms using information supplied separately. The company is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia.

Its document chat lets users ask questions and retrieve insights from the contents of an uploaded file. A website agent can draw on website pages and uploaded PDF, TXT, PPT, PPTX, EPUB, or RTF files. AskYourPDF says the agent answers only from the sources provided to it.

The service also supports webpage summarization, file uploads, API access, a Chrome extension, and plugins for Zotero and ChatGPT. It sits among AI PDF Assistants, AI PDF Tools, and Text Summarization Software.

Verdict

AskYourPDF brings document questions, summaries, PDF form completion, website agents, and API capabilities into one service. Its broad integration options may be useful for both individual document workflows and website or developer use cases. The free plan provides a way to begin, though its daily document and conversation caps are modest.
