What WinSSHTerm is
WinSSHTerm is a free Windows application for organizing remote connections in tabs and multiple windows. It combines PuTTY, WinSCP, and VcXsrv, and supports SSH, SCP, Telnet, RDP, VNC, and HTTP. SSH sessions can use jump servers or proxy connections. Copy Files opens WinSCP with the saved connection configuration, while VcXsrv support allows X applications with copy and paste. Connection groups, a script runner, button-assigned scripts, and PowerShell integration through Launch Tool support repeatable work. A master password protects stored passwords and other encrypted data, but losing it prevents decryption. The application states that it collects and shares no application information; download-server logs may retain visitor and device details for seven days. WinSSHTerm supports Windows 11, 10, 8, and 7 with .NET Framework 4.0 or later. September 2026 releases offer x64 and arm64 portable ZIP and MSI editions.
