What Vaayu is

Vaayu is web- and API-based carbon-management software for retail brands and other businesses. It supports collaborative calculation, reduction, offsetting, and communication of a company’s carbon footprint, covering Scopes 1, 2, and 3, including supply-chain emissions. The platform also provides product-level impact calculations and life-cycle assessments, and monitors 16 impact categories such as emissions, water, and waste. Vaayu says its Kria engine uses AI and machine learning to automate activity-based life-cycle assessment data. Teams can model and track product- and company-level reduction scenarios across materials, factories, transport, durability, logistics, and packaging. Reporting includes CSRD-relevant data and structured exports for frameworks including CDP, FLAG, GRI, and ISSB. Customers can connect shop platforms and internal systems, use APIs, or import data with CSV/XLSX templates. Vaayu lists a free plan at no cost, but says free-plan scope depends on the selected plan and its terms do not promise availability. Paid pricing is available on request. Vaayu says its security practices are SOC 2-compliant and its corporate footprint methodology is independently reviewed and recertified annually by TÜV Rheinland.
