What Thumix is
Thumix is a browser-based AI thumbnail maker that creates images in viral styles using a creator’s face and topic. You can start with templates, draw inspiration from YouTube styles, or make images from scratch and edit them in Canvas. It can also extract styles from existing images or viral YouTube videos, with templates for gaming, vlogs, education, and other niches. Listed models include Nano Banana and GPT 2.5 Flare and Sunburst; generation uses 2 to 4 credits depending on model and quality. Signing in with Google provides 2 free credits, which Thumix says are enough for one thumbnail. Plans are Try at $1.99 a month, Pro at $7.99 a month, and Studio at $15.99 a month; credits do not expire. The maker says users own generated images and may use them commercially, provided they have rights to uploaded reference images. Thumix also offers custom workflows for teams needing batch generation and delivery to a CMS, CDN, or storefront.
