Tableplop is a free web-based virtual tabletop for pen-and-paper roleplaying games. Campaigns organize a party, characters, and scenes, and let game masters invite players. Scenes function as battle maps where users can place maps, tokens, images, and drawings. Customizable character sheets track statistics and abilities and persist between scenes. The dice roller handles rolls and mathematical expressions in chat, including expressions that reference character properties. Measurement can use a grid or free distance, with configurable diagonal rules and waypoints. Game masters can hide maps beneath opaque fog and reveal areas with shape tools. Character sheets include SRD 5.0, simple custom, and blank options. Tableplop runs in a browser and its listed plan costs nothing, with no ads, arbitrary loading times, or scene-count limits. Patreon accounts can apply subscription benefits.
