T-Mobile Scam Shield helps protect customers on T-Mobile’s network from scam calls, spam texts and harmful websites. Calls T-Mobile identifies as likely scams can be marked Scam Likely, and Scam Block can automatically block them; customers can disable that blocking at any time. The included anti-spam protection covers SMS and MMS. Safe Web Browsing helps block known malicious or dangerous sites on supported devices and experiences. If a customer calls a number listed as Scam Likely, Callback Protection plays an audible warning. Network protections work automatically without the app, while customers can manage ScamShield through T-Life. The free ScamShield plan is available at no extra cost to T-Mobile customers who have qualifying service and a capable device. ScamShield Premium costs $4 a month per line and adds categorized call types sent to voicemail, reverse phone lookup and automatic voicemail transcription by text. Safe Web Browsing availability depends on settings and supported features. ScamShield is available on Android and iOS, and the page links to T-Life downloads in both app stores.
