Sound-shaping tools include two four-stage filter sections with nonlinear saturation and drive control, two ADSR envelopes, two LFOs, and two additional amplitude envelopes. Velocity, keyboard tracking, and modulation wheel provide modulation sources. The master section includes an arpeggiator, distortion, phaser, chorus/flanger, equalizer, delay, reverb, and compressor. More than 2,500 presets are included with an onboard browser, and MIDI learn assigns CC, RPN, or NRPN controls. Sylenth1 works in VSTi, AU, and AAX host software but has no standalone app. The full version costs 139.00 EUR as a one-time payment, while installments cost €9.95 a month until paid.
