What Spoken is

Spoken is a mobile app for English and Spanish speaking practice, listening activities, and AI feedback. Each day it presents a topic, gives users 10 seconds to begin, and asks for one minute of speaking. AI can correct grammar and vocabulary in spoken or written responses, and the app includes AI conversation practice. Listening activities use recordings of real native speakers with transcripts; the maker says these recordings use no AI voices. Spoken is aimed at intermediate learners and above. English practice includes specialist areas such as design, architecture, finance, medicine, human resources, law, and nursing. The app is available on iOS and Android and is offered under a freemium model. Its privacy policy says personal data is not sold for advertising and submitted texts, transcripts, and voice recordings are not used to train AI models. Voice recordings are deleted after seven days when retained for requested pronunciation feedback. The terms warn that AI feedback can be inaccurate.
