What SpicyChat is
SpicyChat is a platform for personalized AI roleplaying and chat companions, available on the web and Android. Its homepage describes a library of more than 200,000 chatbots; users can save conversations, favorite bots, and create their own characters. Documentation says chatbot models vary in strengths, context sizes, creativity, and precision. Character creators can set visibility to public, unlisted, or private, and separately choose whether definitions are visible. Moderators can view hidden characters and may remove characters that violate the Community Guidelines. Avatar generation is available on every tier, while Conversation Images are included on True Supporter and higher. The free plan lists 4,096-token context memory, a maximum reply length of 180 tokens, and three personas. Users can sign in with an email one-time code or through Google, Apple, X, or Discord. The Android app is downloaded directly from SpicyChat’s website. There is no iOS app in the Apple App Store; the support page recommends visiting the website on iOS and adding it to the home screen. Support is offered through help-centre tickets, and the Discord community posts live status updates.
