What Samsung Cloud Platform Bare Metal Server is

Samsung Cloud Platform Bare Metal Server provides physical computing resources without virtualization, separating CPU, memory, and other resources for workloads that need performance, including real-time systems, high-performance computing, and servers with high I/O use. Its web console supports provisioning, monitoring, and billing, with standard-spec servers available for immediate use. Images include CentOS, Windows, RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux, and Rocky Linux. Customers can add storage beyond the operating system disk, configure subnet and IP settings linked with VPC Firewall, communicate within a local subnet, and use NAT IP for internet access. Multi-AZ configuration is available to enhance availability. The service uses x86 architecture, has an entry-plan configuration with 64 GB RAM, and offers hybrid deployment and multi-cloud coverage. Pricing is on request. Contract billing uses fixed monthly charges for requested resources, with discounts for one- or three-year terms; early termination incurs a penalty. Without a contract, billing is hourly based on actual usage and VM on/off status. Add-ons such as Reserved IP cost extra.
