What Revision World is
Revision World is a free web resource for GCSE and A-Level revision, study help and downloadable past papers. Its GCSE section covers subjects including English, maths, sciences, humanities and languages, and the past-paper section offers free downloads for many subjects. The resources aim to cover key aspects of subjects but are not aligned to a particular exam board or syllabus. Logged-in users can add exams to a study planner, track completed work, schedule study sessions and download their calendar as a PDF; the site says the calendar can be accessed on a tablet or mobile phone. Registered users can save PowerPoint presentations, PDFs and images from download zones. Teachers can register for free to print, photocopy and use materials for teaching and non-commercial purposes, provided they link to Revision World from a school or personal website. The company says freelance teachers write its education materials. Revision World Networks Limited says the site launched in 2007 and is privately owned, with a registered office in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, UK.
