Prism is a free, web-based LaTeX workspace for scientific writing and collaboration.
What Prism is
Prism is a free, web-based LaTeX workspace for scientific writing and collaboration. Its project-aware assistant can use a manuscript’s structure, equations, references, and surrounding context while you work. Editing features include proofreading, citation management, equation conversion, and automated error checking. Researchers can search for literature and add relevant material, with arXiv listed as an example source. Real-time collaboration supports edits, comments, and revisions with unlimited collaborators. Optional voice editing handles simple changes. Projects can be imported by uploading a folder or ZIP archive or dragging files into All Projects. Zotero syncing supports citation search, but Zotero group libraries are not supported. The Free plan costs nothing and includes unlimited projects, collaborators, compile time, and compile speed. Prism requires an eligible Free, Go, Plus, or Pro ChatGPT account and excludes Business or Enterprise workspace members.
