What MyPlan is

MyPlan is a web-based financial planning platform for individuals and advisors across the SADC region. It monitors a user's financial position across asset classes and currencies in real time, and supports retirement-readiness modeling with customizable assumptions and scenario analysis. Goal planning tracks progress and offers target-date guidance. Estate-planning tools organize beneficiaries, asset distributions, and legal documents. The free Individual Plan includes net worth and portfolio tracking, projections, expense tracking and budgeting, secure document storage, and estate-planning tools. Uploaded wills, policies, and statements are kept in a document vault with encrypted storage and signed-URL access. Users can share read-only financial summaries with advisors through secure links that they can revoke. Advisors can manage multiple client portfolios through an Advisor Plan, which includes client invitations, shared views, and advisor-grade reporting; pricing is on request. Users enter financial information voluntarily, and MyPlan says it does not automatically access or scrape financial institutions. The service may use market-data providers for prices and exchange rates, sharing ticker symbols but not personal data. It supports CSV and PDF data exports. MyPlan is based in South Africa.
