Moodby provides commercially licensed, royalty-free background music for businesses, with Android, iOS, and web access. Its library contains more than 350 curated stations, and playlists are updated monthly. Businesses can schedule DJ-curated playlists, customize them, and manage multiple locations and playback zones from one account. Playback status can be monitored in real time, while Moodby’s DJs and musicians can create a custom playlist or recommend stations for a business. A zone is one independent music stream, and each location or stream requires its own payment. A Sonos for Business option pairs with Sonos speakers for zone-aware playback controlled from a phone, tablet, or browser. Moodby says it provides a certificate businesses can use to communicate their royalty-free music use to local copyright organizations. The pricing page offers a 14-day trial without a credit card.
