Melodics
Melodics is a music-learning app for practicing drums, keys, and pads.
What Melodics is
Melodics is a music-learning app for practicing drums, keys, and pads. Lessons break skills into steps, while courses bring lessons together around a concept, technique, or theme. As you play, the app provides real-time accuracy feedback and a performance breakdown after each attempt. Practice Mode can loop or slow down a section, with Auto-BPM and Wait options. Song lessons are based on covers of popular songs; Premium adds 180+ song lessons to Standard. Melodics supports MIDI keyboards, pad controllers, and electronic drums. Instruments that are not plug-and-play can be mapped in the app, and a computer keyboard is an alternative input. The app runs on Windows, macOS, iPad, and iPhone, but the iPhone app is limited to drums; Android, Linux, and ChromeOS are unsupported. There is a free plan and a free 7-day trial of Premium features. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal; the maker asks users to cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Melodics is based in Auckland, New Zealand.
