What MapZap is

MapZap is a geography game for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Players read a clue, place a pin on a world map, and earn points based on the distance from the correct location. Its content covers every country, flag, and capital, plus more than a thousand landmarks and other places. Modes include friend or live duels, timed Blitz rounds, and quizzes on countries, flags, and capitals. The Daily Challenge gives participants the same five rounds each day and ranks those who played. World Campaign spans 100 levels across 10 chapters, with locations from well-known landmarks to lost civilizations. Players can unlock cosmetic pin colors, outfits, character finishes, chests, sets, and stickers. Local play supports up to eight people taking turns on one device without an account or internet connection. Players can start with an anonymous profile saved on-device or sign in with Apple or Google to carry progress across devices. The free plan costs nothing and includes daily challenges, duels, local play, Blitz, the first campaign chapters, and ads. MapZap supports English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Dutch.
