What Holistiplan is

Holistiplan provides tax, estate, and insurance planning tools in one platform for financial advisors and their clients. It scans detailed tax returns and creates reports with marginal tax brackets and state tax hints. Scenario Analysis models and visualizes possibilities for the next tax season, while Tax Explainer helps show how and why a client's taxes are calculated. Insurance tools assess home, auto, and umbrella coverage, identify gaps, and include a rebuilding cost estimator. Estate planning features include Estate Report, Asset Diagram, and Beneficiary Report tools. Holistiplan lists integrations including fpPathfinder, Zocks, Redtail, Jump AI, Wealthbox, Asset-Map, PreciseFP, Pulse360, Bento, and Kitces. Its public API requires an interview and approval, uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials and API v2, and is limited to 1,000 requests per hour per production client. Basic Tax costs $749 a year and Premium Tax costs $1,499 a year, both billed annually and starting at 30 households, with a stated maximum of 750 households. A 7-day trial is offered; there is no free plan. Uploaded documents must be PDFs under 50 MB.
