Harmony Pro
Harmony Pro is a harmony tool for composers and producers exploring chord options as a piece develops.
What Harmony Pro is
Harmony Pro is a harmony tool for composers and producers exploring chord options as a piece develops. Its suggestion engine offers chord possibilities for a progression, with Balanced, Conservative, Exploratory, and Jazz Expert profiles. Controls for richness, boldness, modal character, continuity, exploration, and style fit help shape those suggestions. A progression workspace includes key detection and playback, while keyboard, guitar, and sheet views provide different ways to inspect harmony. Scale and common-tone controls, reverse chord lookup, a progression generator, and a voicing explorer add further ways to work with chords; chord audio playback is also available. Harmony Pro runs on macOS, Windows, and the web. It is free, with a listed plan of no cost. On macOS and Windows, it is available as an AU or VST3 plugin, including a VST3 version intended for Ableton Live. The maker says the app has no AI. It may request permission to send minimal usage statistics and technical data, while stating musical content is not transmitted; users can change that choice at any time.
