What GMX Mail is
GMX Mail is a free webmail service for personal users and small to medium-sized businesses, available on the web, Android, iOS, and as a browser extension. Each account includes 65 GB of email storage, which GMX says can hold 500,000 emails, and allows attachments up to 50 MB. Users can create as many as 10 aliases in one mailbox and use Mail Collector to combine up to 10 accounts from other providers. Other tools include Contacts, an Organizer calendar, Online Office for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, and GMX Cloud with 2 GB of storage. The mobile app can manage multiple accounts and send or receive encrypted email. Free OpenPGP encryption is available through a browser extension and is performed on the user's computer. GMX says it scans incoming and outgoing mail and attachments for malware and uses seven anti-spam modules. It also says account data is processed in European data centers and mobile-app data processing follows GDPR. MailCheck can notify users of incoming mail and connect accounts; a Help Center and contact form are available for customer care.
