What Falcon is

Falcon is a creative hybrid instrument that combines sampling and synthesis for music production. Its 24 oscillators include 16 synthesis oscillators and eight sampling oscillators, alongside a modular synthesis engine, deep modulation, and scriptable MIDI processors and event tools. It also includes more than 100 effects, 1,600 factory presets and over 500 wavetables. Falcon supports MPE controllers and includes dedicated presets for them. It runs as a standalone app or as a plugin in VST, VST3, AU and AAX formats. System support covers Windows 10/11 and macOS 10.14–15 on Intel and ARM, with channel configurations up to 10.2 and sample rates up to 192 kHz. Other options include SonicPass at €24/month or €240/year, both including Falcon and access to more than 1,000 instruments and effects, and SonicBundle at $799 once for 116 UVI products. Registration and activation require a free iLok account and internet connection; Falcon can be used offline afterward. A license allows up to three simultaneous activations, and registered users receive free updates.
