D4Planner

Overview

From ATLAS FORGE LLC, D4Planner brings together character planning, an interactive map, event timing, guides, tier lists, and news. Its build tools cover skills, equipment, Paragon, specialization, and mercenaries, with options to save, load, import, share, and embed builds. That breadth makes it more useful as a Diablo IV companion than a skill-tree editor alone.

The map covers dungeons, Altars of Lilith, quests, bosses, vendors, events, and chests, with controls to export, import, or clear map data. Expected World Boss, Helltide, and Legion event times, plus push notifications, help players keep track of activities beyond build crafting. D4Planner is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.

Key features

Build planning and sharing

Planning across equipment, Paragon, specialization, and mercenaries gives players room to consider more than their skill choices. Saving and importing builds suit players who revisit or adapt plans, while sharing and embedding make it practical to pass a build to others.

Map and events

The map's range of tracked locations and activities makes it a useful companion for players who want to keep exploration objectives in view. Export, import, and clear controls offer ways to manage map data. Event estimates and notifications are a useful addition for players planning around timed activities; iOS users must add D4Planner to their home screen to enable notifications.

Guides and coverage

Build guides, tier lists, game guides, and news extend the service beyond interactive tools. That is convenient for Diablo IV players, but the listed coverage is one game, so players seeking a planner for several titles will need another service.

Pricing

Free — 0.00 USD per free. The free plan provides the planner and companion features with advertising. It is the natural choice for players comfortable with ads who want Diablo IV tools at no cost. A Discord subscription removes ads and grants a special Discord role; its price is custom pricing. That option suits users who want an ad-free experience, but the role is the only additional subscription benefit stated.

The service uses advertising partners for tailored ads. Its privacy policy says certain categories of personal information were sold through ad-supported services in the preceding 12 months. It also cautions that it cannot guarantee absolute security for internet transmissions or electronic storage, and says third-party services may collect identifying information. Those trade-offs matter to players who prefer to minimize advertising-related data collection. The policy says the service is not directed at children under 13 and that it does not knowingly collect their personal information.

Platforms

D4Planner is available on Android, iOS, and the web. The App Store lists the iPhone and iPad app as free and requires iOS 13 or later or iPadOS 13 or later. The iOS home-screen step for event notifications is a small but relevant setup requirement. The privacy policy names Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Facebook among third-party services used by the app.

Who it's for

D4Planner fits Diablo IV players who want build management, map objectives, event reminders, and guides in one place, especially those who value sharing or embedding builds. It is less suitable for players who want a multi-game planner or who are uncomfortable with an ad-supported service and its stated data practices.

Pros and cons

• Pros: Build planning spans skills, equipment, Paragon, specialization, and mercenaries, giving players a broader character-planning toolkit.
• Pros: Sharing, embedding, import, and save/load controls support both personal iteration and sharing builds with others.
• Pros: Map tracking, timed-event estimates, and push notifications complement the planner with exploration and scheduling tools.
• Cons: The free experience is ad-supported, and the policy describes tailored advertising and personal-information categories sold through those services.
• Cons: Event notifications on iOS require adding the service to the home screen.
• Cons: Its coverage is limited to Diablo IV, making it a poor fit for players looking to plan across multiple games.

Verdict

Choose D4Planner if Diablo IV is your game and you want build planning, map tracking, event reminders, and guides together without paying for the core service. Its breadth and sharing tools are the main reasons to pick it; its ad-supported model and single-game focus are the reasons to look elsewhere.
