Corta Spam is a free, open-source Android app that screens incoming calls against rules before the phone rings. Depending on a match, it can allow or block a call, or answer with a greeting. Rules can cover allowed and blocked numbers, wildcard patterns, country codes, quiet hours, repeat callers and an in-app spam list. The call log identifies the rule behind each decision, while blocked-call statistics summarize activity by day, week and month, calculated from local midnight. Users can make a manual JSON backup and inspect it before sharing. An optional experimental auto-responder answers blocked calls with a greeting supplied by the user. The maker says the app declares no internet permission, opts out of Android automatic backup and keeps call logs on the device. It lists Spanish, English, Brazilian Portuguese and Hindi, and is licensed under MIT. Support is available by email or through a GitHub issue. The repository says the Android APK builds. An iOS shell builds and runs, but iOS call blocking is pending a CallDirectory extension; the maker says iOS cannot support action-based blocking at call time or the scripted auto-responder.
