What Composer AI is

Composer AI is an email drafting tool that uses Gmail conversation context and the user's tone to prepare replies. The workflow is to connect Gmail, open an email, review and edit the proposed draft, then send it. The homepage says it generates replies in under 3 seconds. Available on the web and as a browser extension, Composer AI uses Google APIs to read Gmail threads when composing a response. Its Free Beta Tier costs nothing and includes 20 draft compositions per account; users can contact the operator to request a manual limit increase. The service is experimental beta software, with no service-level agreements or uptime guarantees. Its privacy policy says thread content and prompts go to OpenAI, which retains them for up to 30 days and does not use them for model training. Full conversation and email content is also logged to LangSmith for debugging and service improvement, with automatic deletion after 14 days. The policy lists HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, Better Auth, access controls, and regular security assessments and updates. It recommends against using the service for highly sensitive or confidential communications.
