What Bless is

Bless is a binary editor for working with files as sequences of bytes. It supports editing large data files and raw disks, with multiple tabs, customizable data views, multilevel undo and redo, and fast find and replace. Search and save operations run in multiple threads. Bless can export to text and HTML; plugins can add other export formats and extend the editor. It is written in C# using Gtk# bindings for GTK+ and is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. Linux and Windows are listed as supported platforms, with GNU/Linux identified as the main target. Building and running the current version requires GTK+, a Mono/.NET runtime and C# compiler, Gtk# bindings, pkg-config, and Meson. Saving a changed-size file under its existing name requires enough temporary disk space for both the original and new files; same-size files are saved in place.
